Friday, October 12th,

Today wasn't much fun, lots of work, meaning lots of homework. Sigh, I had hoped we would at least have more then a month and a little bit to get settled in before being pounded with homework, but at least I don't have as much to do this weekend as I thought. (It just means I can type and update more! Y'all should be cheering right now!)

So at one of the recess' Mary, and I were talking to Mr K, and he was all shocked that Mary had really gone out with Cameron, then broken up with him, less then 7 hours later. Said she probably broke his small heart, ha ha. That's what's awesome about Mr K, he's really jokey, and treats you like a grown up... sometimes.

Like how he kept joking around that Dylan and I should get married just because I said that Ashlen said the only way I could be a brides-maid at her wedding (don't ask me, last week she was apparently pregnant), I would have to date Dylan. Which would be wrong, he's like my brother. You wouldn't date your brother! Then of course someone brought up that a woman married her step-brother. But then I pointed out that they were step- siblings, meaning they had no blood relation, what- so- ever.

Anyways, in class, Mary and I kept talking and having fun, except we had the second part to the dreaded.... math test! It was this thing that was all about testing your skills in the Math area. The first part we couldn't use a calculator, and some stuff Mr K didn't teach last year, (Yeah didn't tell you I was in his class for not only last year, but also in grade 5! So funny! He's such a funny teacher, he gets off topic a lot and tells funny life stories!).

However this second part, that had more questions, Jenna told us was way harder then the first part, but I found it a lot easier, we got to use a calculator, and once I got into my Math rhythm, I just flew through it. I was still one of the last ones done, like when we did part one. Most people would think it was because I didn't understand it, but no, that's not the case, I just do all the rough work to make sure it's not done wrong. Why lose a mark because you made a mistake and chose the wrong answer. The computer that gets them won't see the rough work, so it won't be able to give you a part mark if you got everything right up to the answer, then just messed up the last part.

At least at primary helpers Jenna and I didn't have to hand out pizza and frozen yogurt. Mrs Baton did. I swear, the kids are far to comfortable with us now. They just think they can get away with stuff. At least they listen better now. At least they are starting to push in their chairs and clean up their area's. (Their afraid their going to get on the bad list, and yes, we do have kids on it). At least they aren't escaping to the bathroom anymore and going straight outside without cleaning up.

Actually this is a continuing issue, this one kid and his friend always do it, and they never even ask to go to the washroom!
