INT. TOMMY’S BEDROOM – UMAGA

Tommy is already dressed—his uniform crisp, his shoes polished. He stands in front of the mirror, holding Teddy close to his chest.

TOMMY
“Hindi mo ako iiwan, ‘di ba, Teddy? Kahit sa school?”

He smiles at the reflection. Teddy’s button eyes stare back, silent but comforting.

INT. DINING ROOM – CONTINUOUS

MR. FITZSIMMONS and MRS. FITZSIMMONS watch their son from the table, coffee mugs in hand. Pride and worry mix in their eyes.

MRS. FITZSIMMONS
“Excited ka na, anak? First day mo ngayon.”

TOMMY tumatalon sa tuwa
“Opo! Ang saya saya ko! May bago akong classmates, tapos si Teddy sasama sa akin!”

He runs to them and hugs them tightly. His father lifts him slightly off the ground, spinning him once.

MR. FITZSIMMONS nakangiti
“Basta tandaan mo, kahit anong mangyari, andito lang kami.”

TOMMY
“Promise?”

MRS. FITZSIMMONS
“Promise.”

EXT. SCHOOL GATE – LATER THAT MORNING

Tommy walks hand-in-hand with his parents. Teddy peeks out from his backpack, one ear sticking out. The school looms ahead—bright, busy, full of voices.

Tommy takes a deep breath. Then smiles.

TOMMY mahina, para kay Teddy lang
“Simula na ng adventure natin.”

FADE TO BLACK.
