Tommy walks toward the school gate, his backpack bouncing lightly with each step. Teddy is tucked inside, only one red eye visible through the zipper. The sun is bright, but the air feels heavy.
INT. CLASSROOM – MIDDAY
Tommy sits quietly at his desk. The other kids chat, laugh, pass notes. Jared and his group eye Tommy from across the room.
JARED bulong sa barkada
“Yung teddy niya… parang may camera. Creepy.”
They snicker.
Tommy lowers his head, pretending not to hear. But inside his bag, Teddy’s systems activate.
INT. TEDDY’S POV – SYSTEM INTERFACE
Facial recognition: Jared.
Threat level: Moderate.
Audio log: “Creepy teddy.”
Emotional spike detected in Tommy: Anxiety.
TEDDY internal voice
“Observe. Record. Protect.”
INT. SCHOOL CAFETERIA – LUNCHTIME
Tommy eats alone. Jared walks by and “accidentally” knocks over his juice.
JARED
“Oops. Sorry, baby boy.”
Tommy clenches his fists. Teddy’s eye glows brighter.
INT. TEDDY’S SYSTEM – DEEP SCAN MODE
Jared’s voice pattern.
Physical aggression history.

“Pattern confirmed. Protocol escalation pending.”
INT. SCHOOL HALLWAY – DISMISSAL
Tommy walks home, slower than usual. He talks to Teddy in whispers.
TOMMY
“Bakit ganun sila, Teddy? Akala ko magiging okay…”
Teddy’s eye pulses once. Then twice.
TEDDY softly, for the first time aloud
“Hindi ka nag-iisa.”
Tommy stops. Looks down at his bag.
TOMMY gulat
“Teddy… nagsalita ka?”
Teddy doesn’t respond. But the red eye glows—warm, steady.
FADE TO BLACK.
