•Alexis•Even though Luke was now beside me, I still could feel myself slipping into darkness. His hands were cupping my face and he was yelling at me to stay awake.
God it was hard. My eyelids felt as if they were being weighed down by tons of bricks.
All I could hear was Luke's strong voice telling me to hold on. Calum was on my left with tears in his eyes. It was as if Luke had never been kicked out of the pack. I noticed that there was something different about him though, but right now, I couldn't focus on that, all that I was focusing on was trying to ignore the extreme pain I was in and staying alive.
"Jo!" Luke yelled, and a girl who I didn't recognize ran up from behind him and looked at me with wide eyes.
"Do it. Heal her. Heal her please." Luke blubbered, as tears rushed down his face in heavy flows.
I saw that Calum was looking at this new girl with an expression I couldn't read. This girl had a power? Does that mean that she's a werewolf? Where did Luke find her?
The girl. Jo I assumed, nodded her head and flashed me a weak smile. My breathing was now coming out in light puffs and to say the least, I was terrified. I'm on the brink of death for gods sake. You would be scared too.
She hovered her small hands over my body, and shut her eyes tight. "Alexis, if you can hear me, I want you to relax, this won't hurt you, I just wanted to let you know." She spoke calmly.
I didn't reply, I didn't have the strength to. Instead, I locked eyes with her as if saying "do it, heal me."
She took a deep breath and her hands shook slightly. I could feel her magic swirling in my veins already. She was definitely healing me. The pain was already disappearing. I could finally feel my legs and arms, my chest was rising normally, and my eyelids didn't feel as heavy anymore. She actually was healing me.
As soon as she removed her hands, I gasped and tried to sit up, yet she lightly pushed me back down. "You need to stay still for a while. Your body isn't completely healed yet. The rest you'll have to do on your own. Your shoulder and back are going to hurt for the next few days, but you will be fine." She said with a smile.
I don't even know this girl and she saved my life. I owe her, and I owe her big time. "Th-thank you." I whispered, tears welling up in my eyes. "Thank you for saving me."
She returned with a warm smile. I like her already. She's really nice (obviously), she's absolutely gorgeous, the way her medium length hair flowed just past her shoulders, her cute little nose, and the fact that her eyes held a genuine sparkle.
I glanced up at the people surrounding me and I only counted 5. There should be 6...Ashton.
"Where's Ashton? What happened to him?" I panicked.
I looked up at Calum and his expression was sad. "He isn't doing good Lex, Jo here healed him before you, but mom was so powerful that she did so much damage that we don't even know yet. He's inside the cabin with Becca, he hasn't woken up yet."
I nodded my head, at least he wasn't dead, what would happen to the rest of us if he had died? The pack would have lost another brother and Becca would have lost her soulmate. But I quickly dismissed the thoughts because Ash was still alive, barely. But alive.
"We should get you inside too." Luke said, breaking the silence. Oh how I've missed him. He's my best friend and the days without seeing him almost tore me apart. But...why did he come back? Wasn't it against the rules?
"Luke. I need to talk to you. Privately." Calum said sternly. Oh god, please Calum, don't make him leave. Him and his friend just saved my freaking life. Please let him stay.
