Thirty Five

"What the hell?" Thea said, her jaw dropping.

I opened my mouth to say something, but was cut off by the two engulfing me in an enormous hug.

"Where have you been?" Cadence whispered. "We've been searching for you ever since you left."

I pulled away and shot them both a glare. "Cut the bull. You weren't looking for me, not at all." I spat.

They looked hurt by my comment, before Thea spoke up, "Dad wouldn't let us send out a signal Jo. He said that if he caught us, he'd send us away."

"Away?"

"Away." She said, emphasizing her words.

I knew what she was talking about. When I said my parents were strict, I meant it in the nicest way possible. My mother and father were perfectionists. If something ever went wrong with the three of us, they sent us away. To the basement of our home.

The basement was where our portal was. Yes portal. It was forbidden to use it in our family, unless you got sent away.

Being sent through the portal was the worst punishment imaginable. Worse then jail, worse then death.

I don't even want to get into it because it's horrid. Let's just say that it involves lot as and lots of torturing and suffering.

My parents would threaten us if we didn't do what we were supposed to do and that's another reason why I left.
I didn't want to risk spilling a potion on the floor then being sent through the portal.

I sighed and looked towards my friends. "We need your help."

Thea turned to everyone and quirked her eyebrows up. Her eyes landed on Michael and she smirked. "Well hello there." She said, leaving my side and walking towards Michael.

Sky stepped in front of Michael and growled protectively. "Oh hell no." She sneered.

"Why not?" Thea asked innocently, tilting her head to the side and batting her eyelashes. Typical.

Her eyes glowed a bright pink and I knew what she was trying to do. Love spell. "C'mon werewolf, wanna play?"

"N-no thank you." Michael stuttered.

"Stop Thea. Leave him alone." I said, trying to stop my sister.

She didn't stop though. Instead she locked eyes with Michael and I saw his irises turn a pink shade too. Shït.

"Hello beautiful." He said looking at Thea as he licked his pink lips.

"No! What have you done!" Sky exclaimed.

"Just a simple love spell." Thea chuckled. "Why? Are the two of you a thing or something?"

"Uh, well no. It's just that, well he-

"So he's single?" Thea cut her off.

Sky looked hopelessly at Thea. "Yes." She mumbled, looking down at her shoes. I saw a tear drop out of her eye as she lowered her head.

"Thea, they need our help." Cadence said, turning to her sister. Thea then broke away from Michael but he was still under her spell, he was practically drooling over her and it was disgusting.

Alexis walked to Sky and draped an arm over her. Do they know something I don't?

"So, what's the problem?" Cadence asked carefully. "And who are these people?" She said, pointing at my pack.

"Werewolves obviously. They all smell like wet dog." Thea said, rolling her eyes.

"Bitch!" Sky said, trying to get to Thea, luckily Alexis pulled her back.

"Just because the two of you are full witches doesn't mean you get to treat others like shit. You aren't high and mighty." I added.

"Did I even say anything? No!" Cadence said, raising her hands up in defensive.

I rubbed my temples and thankfully Luke stepped in, or else I would've strangled both of them.

"Look, I'm Luke. This is Alexis, Ashton, Becca, Sky, who you've pissed off which isn't very good. And Michael, our Alpha." He said pointing at everyone.

Everyone gave them nods, except for Michael, who just mumbled, turned pink and mumbled "hi."

I rolled my eyes and scoffed.

"Anyways." Luke trailed. "Our friend Calum, was put under this weird spell or trance by his supposed to be dead sister Mali-Koa. But the thing is, Calum died too, Mali just manipulates shadows and death so she not only brought back herself, but her brother. So, we need your guys help to turn Mali human so we can kill her. That way, we can get Calum back."

"So you want to use our powers to kill someone?" Cadence gasped.

"Yes. It may sound bad, but we'd do anything to have Calum back." Alexis said, stepping in.

"So what are you going to do with Calvin afterwards? Is he just going to turn back to normal once Miley is dead?" Thea asked, her expression showing boredom.

"Look Thea. The two are dangerous. Especially when Calum is in the state that he's in. Once Mali is dead, everything will hopefully go back to normal and your job will be done. Just please, please help us." I said, looking at my sisters.

Cadence looked at Thea and nodded. "Alright. Only because I would like to know what you've been doing for the past two years."

I smiled and agreed. "We need to get started as soon as possible."

"Guys, I don't feel so good..." Luke groaned, clutching both his head and stomach. Alexis rushed to his side and tried to help him stand up straight.

He groaned and dropped to his knees. "S-stop." He stuttered.

Everyone crowded around the boy and tried to figure out the hell what was going on.

Luke looked up at Alexis and opened his blue eyes wide but something was changing in him, his blue orbs were turning a dark brown colour.

"Alexis." He said, but it wasn't his voice. "Please be prepared, I'll be coming for you, we'll be coming. If I end up hurting you, god baby, I'm so sorry. She's m-making me. I have to go before she takes me once again. I love you so so so much Alexis. Remember that."

Luke then slumped to the ground and Alexis stood there rigid. We all knew who's voice that was, and none of us knew how that was even possible, but it happened. It was real.

Calum was still fighting.

Here's chapter 35!! Just saying, this book is coming to an end :(( at least I think so.
