Calum
I was sitting on the couch in the living room, scrolling through my phone when Luke and Alexis walked through the front door. I sighed."Where were you guys?"
Luke shifted awkwardly on his feet and looked at the ground. "We just went for a walk Cal, it's no big deal." He mumbled.
I now knew not to make a big deal out of situations like this. These two were just friends, in Alexis' point of view. That's all that matters anyways. She's mine, I get to call her my girlfriend and Luke doesn't. I shrugged my shoulders and went back to looking at my phone.
"Wait." I heard Alexis speak up. "You aren't mad?"
I looked up at her and raised one of my eyebrows. "Should I be?" I asked her.
She smiled before chuckling softly. "No, not at all."
Luke then coughed loudly, and I glared at him. He just gave me a 'bite me' look and rolled his eyes. "Are the others up?" He asked with a hint of sarcasm in his tone.
"Yeah, Jo was up before me, she told me that she wasn't feeling too well so she went back to her room. I don't know about the others." I told the two of them.
"Maybe I should go and check on Jo." Luke said, walking towards Jo's room.
"Go be her knight in comfortable flannels Lucas!" Alexis called out to him, Luke didn't turn around but he flipped her the finger over his shoulder.
I laughed and patted the seat next to me, signalling that I wanted Alexis to come sit next to me. She did and cuddled into my side. I sighed and started playing with her long brown hair. "Cal?" She whispered.
"Mhm?"
"What's going to happen to Luke?" She asked, looking up at me with a frown on her face. "He's my best friend Calum, I can't stand not being around him and I can tell it's hurting everyone else too. Including you."
I stopped playing with her hair and started picking at my fingernails. A bad habit of mine. "I don't know Lex, not yet at least. These past couple of days have been hell for me, for all of us. We were only supposed to be here at the cabin for two days and we've been here for almost 2 weeks. That's because I don't know where else to go. I don't want to hide anymore, and now I have to protect you too, if anything happened to you Alexis, I don't know what I would do." I said, cupping her face with my hands.
She pulled away and I frowned. "What is going to happen to Luke?" She asked again.
"Alexis I don't-
"Calum, if you don't let him back into the pack, he's going to go rogue. It's already started to happen to him. His eyes, they're slowly turning black. He won't be able to control himself anymore if he doesn't become apart of a pack soon." She said, pulling at her hair in frustration. "It's driving everyone crazy Calum. Sky has been so distant lately, and that caused Michael to get pissed off and he took his anger out on you and the two of you got into a huge fight. Haven't you noticed that Ashton hasn't really been talking to you either? Or Becca? It's because they thought that you would have made an exception for Luke. He was your brother. He still is, but you kicked him out. And nobody truly understood why. You know that I imprinted on you and that I wanted to be with you, but you still had to make Luke feel even worse by kicking him out of the pack."
By then, I had tears in my eyes. I knew that this was going to affect Luke and everyone, but not this much and I felt so bad. "I-I am so so-sorry." I blubbered. Alexis pulled me into a hug and I cried into her shoulder quietly. I haven't cried in about 10 years. When I first found out about what my family did to humans. I guess i don't need to worry about that anymore though.
