"Gerard." Mikey sang. I groaned and tried to go back to sleep. "There is no escape. You must wake up." he said in a mid evil voice. I couldn't help but laugh. "I had the weirdest dream.!"

I sat up and stretched to arms. "What was it about.?" I asked as I pulled my hair back. "So basically war for ants would be different, inside the cannons were water and everyone drowned. But we were ants as well so we reached to the top of a pole and survived." he said with the perkiest smile.

"Alright." I said in the most horrified voice I made.

I looked out the window and saw the picture Elena. I closed it and put it back in my pocket.

"Breakfast." the flight attendant said. As she handed us our trays, Mikey avoided all eye contact with her. It was that lady he liked. "Enjoy." she said as she walked away.

"Talk to her." I told him. He started shrugging his shoulders and looked down. "I'll talk to her for you." I said as I got out of the seat. "Wait, Gerard, no." Mikey said as he tried to stop me. But he couldn't.

"Gerard.!" he roughly whispered. I gave him thumbs up and walked over to her.

"Hello." I said. "Is there a problem.?" she asked. "No, no. You see, my brother over there likes you. But too shy to talk to you." I said trying to encourage her. "Well, he seems sweet." she said with a smile. "I'll talk to him."

"Great." I blurted out.  I walked back over to my seat to see a pouty Mikey crossing his arms. "Your welcome." I said and I sat down. "What did she say.?" he asked. I smirked and didn't say anything. Mikey gave me a confused face. "Nothing." I said.

While Mikey was reading the news paper, I thought about Mabel. After war, I would have to sign the divorce papers. As much as I don't want to, I have to.

*flashback*

With surprise, I saw Mabel outside walking down the street. I jumped out the window and ran to her. "Mabel.!" I said as I ran up to her. "Hey, uh Gerard right.?" she said as she stopped walking. "Yea." I said with an awkward chuckle. "Listen. Would you like to have dinner at my house tonight." she asked looking down. Well.... I haven't ate anything. And I knew Mabel, kinda. "Sure." I said smiling.

I stopped, I couldn't think about her. She's out of Tom life. She's long gone.

Out of no where the plane started shaking. It got worse by every shake. "Keep calm.! Keep calm.!" Drill sergeant yelled. We got up and right when he got on his feet the plane shook and he fell.

All of the men started freaking out. The flight attendants started getting worried. "Stay seated.! Keep calm.!" the flight attendant said until she fell down. I looked out the window and saw grey clouds all over and lighting.

We're going to die.

"Everyone keep calm.!" the flight attendant said. She fell onto Mikey's lap. Love.!

They both stared into each other's eyes until the next shake of the plane. I started freaking out by the frenetic way the plane shook. I grabbed Elena's compass and gripped it in my hand. I didn't want to die before I got to war.

Everyone started admitting everything at that moment. "I stole the news paper.!" one guy yelled. "I married my cousin.!" another one yelled. "I'm gay.!" Drill sergeant yelled.

That's when everyone froze. Nobody said anything. Then two seconds later, the plane stopped shaking. "We're going to make it.! The storm stopped.!" the pilot said as he opened the door. Drill sergeant immediately closed it and had an awkward face on like no body heard anything.

Well then.

The flight attendant got off of Mikey and fixed her hair. She acted casually and walked away not making eye contact with Mikey.

I knew after the way she looked at him, he didn't want to talk. Neither did anyone else knowing that they admitted almost all their secrets.

The rest of the way was silent.

We arrived at a base filled with other military men. They were all siting around socializing, eating, and having a good time. I grabbed my bag and walking towards the exit. I turned around to see if Mikey was behind me, but he wasn't. He was standing next to our seat kissing the flight attendant.

My jaw dropped.

My eyes widen.

Mikey's all grown up.

He grabbed his bag and walked toward the exit. He gave me that 'you didn't see anything' face. I smirked at him. We both got off and headed toward tent 10. That's where our lieutenant was going to meet us.

"And what are your names.?" our lieutenant said with a cigar in his mouth. "My name is Gerard, and this is my brother Mikey." I said with my chin up and back straight. "Don't do that, you'll break something." he said. Every time he talked smoke would just hit our faces.

"I'm lieutenant Oliver, when you address me you will say lieutenant Oliver. I'll be guiding you and keeping you safe. But I'm not your baby sitter." he said as he blew more smoke to us. "You will listen to what I say and when I tell you to be still, be still. Keep calm, keep calm. Run, you run."

"Yes lieutenant Oliver." me and Mikey said. "Good alright. We got some food and beer. Enjoy." he said as he walked away. He seemed like a tough guy. He was thin though, he had brown hair that was place and whenever he talked to us he means business.

Me and Mikey placed our stuff in our tent and went to where everyone else was. Drill sergeant wasn't here. I guess we had to leave it to lieutenant Oliver. Tomorrow is when the real business happens.

-later that night-

"Go to bed Mikey.!" I groaned pulling the blanket over my head. "No.!! I'm not tired.!" he pouted. "We have to listen to lieutenant Oliver.! Now sleep.!" I mumbled. "Fine." he scoffed.

He laid down and stared at the ceiling of the tent. "That kiss was magical." he said. "Why'd you guys kiss.?" I asked. "She said that she liked me so she gave me a good luck kiss." he said with a voice like magic. "I want one too." I said as I turned over and gave Mikey a kiss. "Gross.!!" Mikey said as he wiped his mouth. I just couldn't stop laughing.

He pulled the blanket over his head and went to sleep. I smiled and laid down.

"Gerard.?" Mikey said. "Yes Mikey.?" I answered. "That was gross." he scoffed. "You loved it." I said before falling asleep.

Tomorrow is when everything happens.
