"Hello Mabel." I said as I have my serious face. "I need you." she said. Why would she need me.? "The child is yours." "What.?" my serious face quickly turned off. "You're a daddy." she said with a perky smile.

No.

Hell no.

I slammed the door in her face. With all the shit she got me into, she finally come running back to me just because she now realizes it's my problem. I quickly opened the door. Good thing she was still there.

"Oh and don't move anywhere, stay at that house. I still need to send you divorce papers." I said as I slammed the door back in her face. Well, that was out of the way.

I went back into the kitchen with my mama.

And that's my story I told the old lady. "That was a very wonderful story." she softly said with a smile. I smile and look at her. "You are a very lovable guy. And you have a life story that brings you to tears." she says. "Thank you. I better get going." I say as I get up.

"Leaving so soon.?" Lydia said as he wiped down the counter. "Yea mama wants me home." I say as I give Lydia a hug. "Later snug bug." Lydia said as she handed a drunk to a costumer.

I got into my car and was greeted by Frank and Ray. "Hey Gee." they say as they walk into the bar. "Hey guys." I said. With surprise, I see drill sergeant.

"Look who's here. My boy." he said as he patted my back. "Hey drill sergeant" I said with a chuckle. "Call me Bob." he said as he walked into the bar.

I got into my car and drove home. I entered and saw mama with dinner. "Dinner.!" she yelled. I walked over to the kitchen and sat down.

After dinner I walked over to my radio. It was pretty dusty. I blew off all the dust and turned it on. The batteries still worked.

"World war two. Over.!" the announcer said. "Isn't that a relief. Well good night New York."

"Goodnight announcer." I said as I turned it off.

I went upstairs to me and Mikey's bedroom. I laid  down on the bottom bed and waited for mama.

"Are you in bed.?" Mama said as walked in with a lantern. "Yes mama." I say as I pull the blanket off from over my head.

"I have no stories now. Because you lived it." Mama said with a smile. I smiled and hugged mama. She tucked me in and gave me a kiss on the my forehead.

"Goodnight Gerard." she said.

She kissed Mikey's glasses that were on his bed.

"Goodnight Mikey." she said.
