Ria's POv

It's lunchtime and i planned to spend sometime with Mika. Lately she looked depressed that why I asked Matt if there is something wrong and he informed me that Mika has been out of herself for almost a month now and they blamed Ara. That varsity girl broke my darling's heart.

I tried myself so hard not to snap back when she told me to back off . Even though it's against my will i gave her a chance because i can see Mika's eyes glistened each and everytime she looks at her but she just threw that chance away and now it's my turn to let Mika know of my intentions.

Mika was my first crush, the first time i gazed upon her she already took my breath away. I can still remember it was orientation day for freshmen and i forgot to bring a pen and she gave me her extra. Actually i still have that pen hiding in my treasure box. 😉 I just couldn't find time to pursue her since i had been engaged with my academics, school band and tours and i'm not sure if she's straight or gay. I've been usually hooking up with other girls but nothing changed she still serves as the apple of my eyes. My muse. My love.

I initially played as the vocalist of the school band and our manager saw us perform one time and that started our band's professional career. We started recording our own songs, having it played on local stations and we became famous and we are known as the Venus in Aries band.

We will be graduating soon which means i will be free from academic stuff so this is the perfect time to confess my feelings for my beautiful muse. I know that she is hurting and i am here to help heal her broken heart. I will pick all the broken pieces and i will bring back her heart melting smile that made me fall in love with her.

I'll help her move on and I'll make sure that i'll be the best girlfriend she'll ever had.

I saw Mika sitting on a bench at the school park so I sat beside her, she looked at me and gave me a smile. This girl is so strong, I can see emptiness behind those beautiful gray eyes but she can still manage to smile.

I bring out my guitar and decided to sing her a song. ano pa't tinawag na vocalist ako diba?

I was looking at her and she seemed clueless wen she saw my guitar she never removed her eyes from me. I stared at her gray eyes. I played we could happen by aj rafael and started singing.

I was relieved when i see her singing along with me, looks like she is having a good time.

After the song i offered her a sandwich and a bottle of orange juice but she declined.

Mika: Thanks Ria but I'm not hungry.

I was disappointed when she didnt accept the food that i offered because i want to spend more time with her so i need to find a way.

Ria: Really, well that sucks. I am so hungry and i haven't had any food since this morning. (Of course i did this with my puppy eyes with matching pouting of my lips)

Mika looked clueless she raised her eyebrows. I think my plan is already working.

MIka: Ok, then go ahead and eat the sandwich...

Ria: Oh No, I can't! i bought that for you, i also bought one for myself.

I showed her

she smiled...

Mika: I really appreciate what your doing Ria but i just don't have the appetite I'm ggsorry. Just go ahead and eat your sandwich.

My face went dark as a sign of defeat.

Ria: Sabay sana tayo.

Mika looked at me, smiled and grabbed the sandwich.

Mika's POV

My mood of devastation is taking its toll on me. Everything's failing thinking about Ara. I need to forget her but the hell my brain is always thinking about her.

I was surprised when somebody sat beside me. It was Ria, At first i was clueless when she brought out her guitar but when she started singing one of my favorite songs i sing along. For a few moments i forget about my problems. I forgot about Ara. She brought sandwiches and she wanted me to eat with her. These past few days i just can't find my appetite. As far as i remember the last time i ate was a yogurt and banana 2 days ago. Energy drink and colas kept me company nowadays. The caffeine helps me to keep going.

Ria: Sabay sana tayo.

I really find her cute when she told me that she wants to eat lunch with me. I really don't feel like eating but I need to feast on this sandwich for her. tsk tsk nangonsensiya pa kase.

Mika: Sige na nga.

I just realized that i am already enjoying this meal and i'm almost done eating the whole sandwich.

I can't believe it, for so many days everything tasted bland but this effin sandwich tasted really good. and i really appreciate Ria's effort. Simple things are the one that counts the most. I looked at her and i can see her genuine smile. Ria was actually my first crush, when i met her in the orientation way back freshmen year she already captured my heart. She is this rocker type of chick. Her black short hair paired with her brown chinito eyes are so attractive.

Mika: Dapat pala lage kita kasama para may gana ako kumain. I winked at Ria, her face turned red and i find it really cute i pinched her cheeks.

Ria: Gusto mo sabay nalang tayo lage kumain?

I was actually joking but she sounded very pleased.

Mika: Sure ka kaya mo?

Ria: Of course i can do that, kung gusto mo breakfast, lunch at dinner pa. i would love to spend more time with you and actually this can help me fulfill my mission.

Mika: What mission are you talking about.

I raised my eyebrows then i was shocked when she pinched my cheeks.

Ria: Mika, you're getting thinner, Honestly i have been observing you for weeks now and it seems like you totally forgot about yourself and i would love to do it for you.

Ria held my hands and stared at me. Her warm brown eyes gives me an assurance that she will always stay by my side, that i will never be alone.

Ria: Mika let me take care of you.

I was speechless, i wanted her into my life but i'm so afraid that i might be left out again.

Ria: You don't need to say anything, just let me do my thing. Mika it breaks me seeing you sad and i'll do my best to make you smile again.. I'll take this chance to be the source of your happiness.

I felt like crying because i was so grateful that she is here to help me out. When Ara left me i felt like i wasn't good enough to endeared by anybody, that i am not enough to make someone happy but my self doubt was gone because of Ria.

Mika: Thank you Ri. i smiled at her, she wrapped her arms around me and i leaned on her chest.

Maybe this is what i need, i need someone who can help me move on. I just can't believe that my first crush will be the source of my comfort in times like this and i'm really thankful.

I will forget you soon Ara.

I will be happy without you.
