VIC'S POV

I went home with a heavy heart...

I arrived in manila and went straight ahead to Kim's condo... being her bestfriend i have a spare key so i can get in whenever i want....

I thought nobody was home since Kim texted me that she will be gone until 9 in the evening... and im an hour early...

I managed to buy a dozen of beer and chips so we can drink tonight.... i went to the kitchen to put the beverages that i bought in the fridge and threw in the chips in the dining table. i was on my way to the guest room when i heard somebody talking inside Kim's room and i peeked...

i saw Cienne i think she was on the phone...

i was about to call her attention when i heard her say Mika's name....

so i leaned in and be more attentive...

Cienne: yes tita, No one knows even my girlfriend has no idea about it...

Cienne: Yes tita i understand...this is for Mika's fast recovery... i wont break your trust tita...

i was dumbfounded... from what i heard something might have happened to Mika that i am not aware about... and it is killing me... maybe that was the reason why she don't recognize me...

It hurts that Cienne didn't even bother to let me know what happened but i do understand that it was a request coming from Mika's mom....

but since i already heard something might as well try to find out the truth....

Cienne was in total shock when she saw me standing behind her....

I gave her a poker face....

Cienne: Ara what are you doing here?

she was trying so hard to open up a conversation... but it really is awkward... she cant even look in my eyes....

Ara: I called Kim and we will drink tonight... I just came from the province....

Cienne: Province? What are you up to?

i guess i need to start the real conversation...

Ara: I went to find out where Mika is...

her eyes fell on the floor....

Cienne: Oh Really? did you go alone? Did you happen to find her?

Ara: yes i found out where they lived... last night and this morning i followed her to the beach resort and i even bumped into her...

I was carefully checking on her reactions and her face looked horrified when i told her that we met....

Cienne: Oh my God... so what happened when you saw her?

Ara: Cienne can we just stop this crap and please tell me what you know... I already heard you talking to Mika's mom... I know you know something...No!! i know you knew everything....

At this point i cannot take it anymore.. i cannot stand the fact that i've been wasting to much time and that there is something wrong with my baby... something happened and i need to help her... so i need to know what happened the fastest way that i can...

Cienne: I'm really sorry Ara but tita talked to me and told me to not let anybody find out what happened... Tita asked me to hide where they lived specially to you...

Ara: Why do they need to do that... she is my girlfriend... We are engaged... I have the right to know... i need to take care of her...

Cienne: they were blaming you for what happened Ara...
