Unexpected stranger

Ria's POV

I woke up early, I had high hopes that i will be seeing Mika sleeping beside me but i am so disappointed. I woke up and still i am alone in bed.

I know that i was stupid to agree with the Dating game but our friends were so insistent. They said that a date with another girl won't hurt and i should let Mika have some fun sometimes so i let her. Actually i just started to worry when i saw Ara joined the game and right before the game starts i knew that she will win. When i looked at Mika i can see a disgust on her face but her eyes tells a different story. Her eyes glistened, the way she looked at Ara the first time we were introduced at each other. I can't forget those eyes because that was the reason why i backed out and gave Ara a chance and it's been more than a year since Mika and I have been together and not once that i have seen her look at me the way that she looks at Ara.

I wanted to be the best girlfriend for her like i have promised given that i have a tight schedule i always make sure that i get a time off once or twice a month to see her and to spend a quality time for her. I would always want to be the reason of her happiness but so far all i've seen were superficial.

Actions can tell that Mika is not ok. Even if she won't tell me I know that she is just pretending. She is pretending to be happy, she is pretending that she is back on her game, she is pretending that she totally forgot about Ara and worst of all she is pretending that she loves me.

It is painful and i am slowly dying. My busy schedule helps me forget how my heart is being broken but each and everytime i remember i always drown myself with tears. Yes i know that it's crazy but even though i know that i don't own her heart and loyalty i still cling onto her. You can't blame me. She is my life and she gives me soul, before i am just barely breathing but when she comes into my life everything changed.

The day couldn't get any better, after the host announced the winner i glared at Mika. I hope that she understood the message behind my deathful glare. I wish for her to back out but she didn't she ran away together with the girl who broke her heart, the reason why i can't give Mika the happiness that she deserves, The girl that she truly love.

I decided to go back in the cabin I no longer have the mood to enjoy Dinah. There were a lot of girls hittin on me but i am the type of a lesbian who can live without flirting. yes when Mika became my girlfriend i never hook up with anybody else.

It's already 9 o clock and Mika is not yet here. 

I decided to take a bath and go out get some breakfast in a diner downtown.

I was walking downtown when i saw my friends eating on a diner i checked my watch and its already noon so i joined them. God was kind enough i saw my closest friend and i was actually having a good time.

Ria: jowee?

Jowee: Riri baby!!!

Jowee gave me a warm hug and pulled a chair so i can sit beside her.

Jowee: Damn it besty it's been how many years...

Ria: 5 jowee... i haven't seen you in 5 years.

Jowee: Awwww i'm really sorry besty, i can't afford to go home in Manila. My agency has been giving me a tight schedule.

Ria: I understand Joe, actually i wouldn't be able to entertain you if ever you go home. The band also have a tight schedule i even rarely see my girlfriend because we are always away making tours, concerts and recordings.

Jowee: Well that's new, the last time i saw you, you were never interested in having a girlfriend because you were so in love with your high school crush.

Ria: Actually joe, she is my girlfriend.

Jessey: Wow i'm so happy for you Ria finally niligawan mo din. Ilang years na kayo?

Ria: 1 year?

Jowee: What? Ang torpe mo talaga besty. You started courting her when you graduated?

Ria: Haha 2 weeks before graduation. I thought i will be able to give more time for her by then but i know she understands the nature of my work.

Jowee: Don't be sad besty so why are you alone? Where is your girlfriend?

Ria: Mika joined a dating game yesterday so yeah, she's not yet home and i'm already hungry and then i saw you..

Jowee: You never changed Riri baby di mo talaga matago pag naaasar ka. Anyways if she didn't go home last night .......shit!!!! did you give her a golden ticket?

Ria: No!!! No way!!! since we are together we never hooked up with anybody else. 

Jowee: Ok, calm down. I just wanna make things clear. May papakilala sana ako sayo eh kaso di pala pede.

Ria: Haha...Let me meet her we can be friends. 

Jowee: Ok, let's just wait she went to the comfort room aga aga lasing na ang gaga! Heartbroken kase kaya i asked her to come with me in Dinah so she can have some fun.

I decided to sit outside and check on Mika when a girl sat beside me and leaned on my shoulder.

I was about to push her away but this girl is drunk i can smell liquor all over the place.

Ria: Are you okay?

The girl lifted her head and looked at me. she gave me a wide smile.

"Hi cutie, i'm jessey by the way"

Ria: Ahhhmmm Hi jessey Im Ria you can call me Riri but are you okay? 

Jessey: Oh yeah I,m okay Ri babes. This girl is crazy she's saying that she's okay but i can see that she is near passing out. 

Ria: Are you sure? because if you want i can help you go home. I think you need rest.

I was surprised when she gave me a hug and plead like a little kid.

Jessey: Oh no! please please please... i don't wanna go home. I don't wanna be alone.

Oh my God i don't know why, forgive me Mika but i find her really cute which is in contrast with her height this girl is pretty tall and fair and beautiful. she resembles like a model.

Ria:  Hush ...I'm sorry it's just that you already look so tired and i think you need some rest.

Jessey: Ri babes i don't wanna be alone. Please please don't send me home.

This girl is already crying but i just want her to get some rest.

Ria: A'right i'm not gonna send you home but we need to get a hotel room so you can rest. I promise i'm not gonna leave you.

I was surprised when she cupped my face

Jessey: You promise? You will stay?

I gave her a warm smile to give her an assurance that i will not leave her.

She gave me a hug, she's too weak to walk so i decided to carry her out of the diner as we search for the nearest hotel so we can check in.
