who is she?

Mika's POV

It's been years when i last saw my parents, and since Ara is away i think this will be a great opportunity for me to catch up with them and also to inform them about my engagement with Ara...

I know that they don't really care about me but as their daughter i would still want them to be proud of me... Even if they tell me that they are ok with me being gay, i can still feel that they are disappointed of course who wouldn't? I am their only daughter.

Well i just wanted to let them know that even though they have a gay daughter that it didn't hinder me to be successful. I will let them know that i am a co owner of a bed and breakfast and a restobar in Baguio and they also wouldn't be upset with my wife

Since i have keys i decided to surprise them and invited myself in...

Oh i miss this house, even though most of my memories of this house are filled with the screaming and fighting of my parents, i still have a few good memories like my 16th birthday when they decided to buy me a car. When we simply have a movie night. I was so caught up reminiscing when i heard my mom scream...

Sandy: Oh my god, am i dreaming is it really you?

Mika: Yes mom, it's me...

Sandy: Oh i missed you so much... come give the old lady a hug...

I come to her and gave her a tight hug...

Mika: you're too hot to be an old lady mom...

Well yeah with the age of 52 my mom still looks amazing, she had this long red brown hair, pretty eyes actually she looks like an older version of me.... we do resemble a lot...

Mika: Where's dad?

Sandy: Oh here he comes...

David: Oh hello princess. i am really happy that you are here...

Mika: Nice to see you dad...

I was really happy with my decision to see my parents. I found out that since i left Dad and Mom tried to fix their relationship and Dad never went back to her mistress again...

we were sitting on a couch and enjoying a hot cup of coffee talking about the things that i have missed. Dad started a new business together with his colleague 2 years ago and everything is going well they even think of expanding the business reaching out to different locations and Dad is asking me if i wanted to be a part of it...

I started to inform them about the bed and breakfast and the restobar and they seemed to be pleased about it. I even inform them that i have been performing in the bar and they were shocked... They thought that i already forgot my interest in music...

David: I'm really happy with what you have achieved princess. Honestly i was really disappointed when i found out that you were gay. I was so afraid that the society will not accept you and you won't be successful but here you are.... I am really proud of you princess.

I am really pleased knowing that My dad is proud of me, aside from Ara they are the only ones important to me. Their perception of what i truly am matters... I wanted them to be happy with what i have achieved. I wanted them not to regret to have a gay daughter. I wanted them to be proud of me...

I also informed them about my engagement and showed them a picture of Ara. I apologized that they weren't able to meet her yet due to the errands that she needs to finish in LA.

David: Oh she is such a fine lady... i'm excited to meet her in person...

Mika: No worries Dad once she's back. We will come straight to your house so you can see how beautiful and sweet my future wife is...
