As I said in the summary, this journal spans several years of our protagonist's life. Since he starts writing when he's young, the earlier writing is of lower quality. This is not a reflection of my own writing ability but a stylistic choice.
This story is mostly an experimental piece that I'm writing to get the backstory down for a character I roleplay, but I figured I'd put it up here anyway because why not (and because it's interesting.)
I'd also like to put a disclaimer here: I've never had any of his experiences myself and I didn't specifically research the psychology of abuse or bullying, so if you see anything that you think I've portrayed inaccurately, please to let me know.
Any other comments are appreciated, too, even hate mail. (Though I've never gotten any.)
Because of the format of this story, dialogue starts at Entry 40, but I don't recommend reading ahead, as key details and plot occur in the preceding entries. You could skip to entry 20 and be mostly okay, but our protagonist doesn't take time to explain and you may miss things. That said, it won't take long to read a few entries to check this story out, so please do.
