!! Murder mentions, burn injuries !!
[Dipper POV]:
We headed back to the shack and knocked on the door as we stood on the porch. A light went out upstairs and Ford opened the main door a little after. "May I help you?" He looked down to meet our eyes. It was like he didnt even recognize us, it was WORSE than Mabel's bubble. "Can we talk to you? It's about the society of the blind eye" his gaze shifted. "I suppose" he let us in and we walked into the livingroom. "Do you remember the missing person from the papers?" Mabel fidgets with her sweater sleeves. "Unfortunately. He was an old friend of mine, helped me with some studies of mine but seemed to have lost himself along the way." He pushed up his glasses. "He's dead. We found his corpse in the natural history museum." I ran my fingers through my hair, struggling to make eye contact. Ford looked conflicted for a moment. "That's not a funny joke, kid. Where are your parents?" he crossed his arms. Mabel snapped "Ford, c'mon, it's us! We're family!" She tugged at his coat. "Mabel.." I wanted to argue with her but she was right to feel how she did. "And how exactly? My brother Stanley's been MIA for years, and my other brother? I don't know" he sat down and got a bit lost at the thought. "You're our great uncle, we've been hanging at hour house all summer with great uncle Stan! What did Bill do to you?" I stared at him like he was someone else. He glanced up at the name. "Bill? You know Bill?" He leaned forward to meet our eyes. "He's been bothering us all summer! He ruined my sock opera" Mabel crossed her arms. "It's a long story" I adjusted my hat. "Why would he do such a thing? Ever since I graduated school he's been been a good friend to me. He's helped me with my research tremendously, especially after Fiddleford.." He tapped his fingers against his knees. "Because hes evil!" Mabel shook him by the sweater. "But Lewis is my best friend, well— more than that actually" He couldn't look us in the eyes. "I knew it!" Mabel pulled away. "How could you like someone like that?!" She seemed really worried. Thinking about Ford and Bill kind of grossed me out too, but i tried not to be judgemental. "This world isnt real! He's destroying the town as we speak, we have to go!" I grabbed his hand and tried to force him up. "Dipper, if Ford in here didn't know, do you think.. he got into his head? I mean what if he destroys the world?" She walked with us as we tried to find that area we entered here from. "I don't know. I mean I doubt it, but even then with the metal plate it should be impossible. Maybe his mind is just reflecting off the chaos he sees??" I tried to theorize as we headed into the woods. The sky turned red and the grass faded into dry dirt and iron gates barred us off. I looked to the town in the distance and it was turned to ash. "You just had to ruin things" an angry voice told us. I expected the triangle we were firmiliar with but instead I turned around to a tall man who looked like a disgusting interpretation of him. He looked almost human. "Just because you look human doesnt mean you are one! You cant trick us anymore, Bill" I shouted. "Oh Dipper, this is MY world. You think I'm gonna act human after you've polluted it? Not even God could save you now" He floated off the ground and lifted Ford away from us. "Let me go and leave the kids out of it, Bill!" Ford argued. "It's not my fault seeing is believing, Fordsy. You believed it because somewhere in you, you wanted to. I knew you could never get over me" The demon smiled. "Get over? Eww!" Mabel gagged at the thought. "Wait, that part was true?!?" I could puke at the thought. Bill held his hand over Ford's mouth as he coiled him up with his powers, restricting him to move. "Do you have any idea how long it took to burn the thoughts of a world like this into fords eyes until he convinced himself this was real? And you just undid all of that progress!" He flashed red just like he would in his demon form. "You fucking tortured him, this isnt something you do to people!" I screamed at him. "You don't get to tell me what I can and can't do! I've been nothing but a toy to Ford for years, and I'm the evil one?! It was always 'Muse do this for me', 'Muse do that for me!' why can't I ever get what I want without being thrown into a stone statue or a intergalactic prison?!!" He turned the forest around us to ash. I held close to Mabel, trying to avoid the embers. "Because you're a monster!" Mabel yelled at him. She stuck out her tongue at the end. Bill lit her sweater on fire with the snap of his fingers. Ford bit Bill's hand to make him move it. He yelped in pain and Ford yelled for us to try and get out of there. Mabel ripped her sweater off in fear as she watched her creation burn to ash. She began to cry from the pain of a few burns she got. I held her close. "Just let us go home!" I started to plead with him. "NO, NOT UNTIL YOU UNDERSTAND" He turned the world around us into a barren space, it looked like the picture of the mindscape Ford had once showed me. Me and Mabel were suddenly floating as the ground had disappeared beneath our feet. A hand had pulled us into a cup, presumably Bill's. He cackled. "So you wanna keep running your mouth, Pinetree? Or do you wanna let me finish talking" He raised a large steaming kettle. I just kept my mouth shut. He nodded and his smile faded. He showed us flashbacks of his meetings with Ford, I already knew most of them. Then there were things I haven't seen, murders. Images that would never leave my mind after that.
