I shoved the door open and the loud bang echoed through the office. My eyes were burning with fury as I stepped with loud thuds against the floor.

I can't believe Anton can go this low! Gusto ko na lang magsusumigaw na ang kapal ng mukha niya!

I'm here at Anton's office. It is perched on the top floor of a sleek corporate tower, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a panoramic view of the city skyline. The space exudes wealth and authority. Every piece of furniture is carefully curated to reflect power and precision.

The walls are a deep charcoal gray, broken only by minimalist abstract art and a single framed newspaper article announcing one of his earliest corporate victories. The air is cold with the faint scent of leather and polished wood lingering.

Everything in the room is designed to remind anyone who steps inside that Anton is in control of every single thing there.

At the center sits an imposing dark wooden desk. Not a single paper is out of place. Behind it is a high-backed leather chair where Anton sat unfazed as if he'd been expecting this storm to come.

"Well, well. Finally you're back." A sarcastic smile formed in his lips as he gazed upon me.

"You thief! You stole my company!" I snapped, shoving my phone toward him as I stood in front of his desk. The screen is displaying a news article hinting at a new CEO to be appointed at Damarah Cosmetics.

Apparently, Anton had quietly bought the shares while I was away, making moves in the shadows when I was too distracted to notice. He leveraged on the previous rumor that our marriage is on the rocks which left a not good impression on the shareholders. It didn't help when I suddenly went on remote from the company on short notice.

Him being the second-largest shareholder and a significant member among the board, it wasn't hard for him to sway the others. One by one, they sold out. And just like that, he secured the majority.

Now, the company I built is under his control. Being the majority shareholder now with significant influence, he has the power to push me out of my position. Maybe not overnight, but easily enough.

Anton did not bother to glance at the article on my phone. Instead, he rose from his chair calmly, cool and composed. Stepping out from behind the desk, he cut the space between us with quiet authority. He sat on the edge of the desk, almost leveling our height because even if he's sat, he's still slightly taller than me. He folded his arms across his chest, his eyes locked onto mine and a faint, mocking smile played on his lips.

"I didn't steal anything. I bought the shares fair and legal. Some of the board members were even too happy to hand me their shares," he said, voice low and smooth, dripping with sarcasm. He leaned in just slightly, eyes gleaming with amusement. And damn, it annoyed the hell out of me.

"Why do you have to do that?!" I shouted, the words hitting the air like a slap.

Anton didn't flinch. Instead, a slow, amused smile curled on his lips as if my fury was his entertainment.

"I told you." He said calmly. "I'm going to make you come back to me. And look, just like that. You're here."

My fists clenched at my sides, nails digging into my palms. The rage that's bubbling in my chest threatens to explode.

I hate this. I hate that I lost! But more than anything, I hate standing here in front of him like some failure he gets to gloat over. Like I'm the one who ran out of moves.

"I never thought that you'd go this low, Anton," I said through gritted teeth. "I even made the annulment terms as favorable as possible to you but you just crossed the line!"
