CHAPTER SEVENTEEN;

SWEATER WEATHER -

After the eventful night, I resisted the urge to wake up. Not only was I awaiting a battle from my mother once I'd arrived home, but I desperately wanted to hold onto the platonic moment of sleeping with Lucas. He was such a peaceful sleeper, and made cute little snores during the night. He excited every inch of me. I felt electric when I was around him. Maybe because he was the most pure light I'd ever seen, unfiltered and untouched.  He was my sun.

We didn't get up to anything naughty that night - god no. It was tempting, but I never was the girl who liked to lose her virginity over a high - school crush.

Although his chest was very comfy and.......undeniably sexy.

I woke up sometime at nine - ish, which was pretty early for a hormonal teenage girl.  I ate a Nature Valley bar, as a means for breakfast. It didn't taste great with my morning- cereal - cravings, but it was better than nothing. In fact, it actually gave me the energy to sort my scruffy hair out. I would've hated Lucas to see my hair in a state like this, I looked like the bloody gruffalo.

I also picked up this large sweater, and put it on. It had the numbers 21 posted on it.

Although it wasn't long before he woke up, brushing his hand through his soft - bed hair. I admired him so much, and lost complete focus on brushing my hair while I was staring into his compelling blue eyes. He looked rather cute, and if he was like that every morning, then I'd happily get up earlier just to witness the beauty that awoke before me.

"Hey gorgeous." I said, noticing that he was quickly becoming convalescent while he got out of bed.

"Gorgeous?" He quizzed.

"Yes, I said 'gorgeous'."

"Ah, well, thanks I guess."

"You don't sound satisfied." I stated.

"Not when you're sarcastic, no." He laughed, looking right at me.

I couldn't help myself laugh too. "It's good to see that you understand sarcasm Lucas."

"It's good to see that I woke up to a pretty sight this morning." He added.

"Oh stop it you!" I flattered.

"I meant the sun Lara."

"........."

"I'm only joking silly." He said.

"It doesn't matter anyway, I couldn't care if you thought I was pretty." I lied, trying my best attempt at looking him straight in those perplexing eyes of his.

"Oh don't lie to me princess, we both know that you care about what I think. Plus we both know that you think I'm cute."
