Y/N had decided it would be best to stay downstairs, for the time being, not wanting to bother anyone with carrying her upstairs - not that Yoongi would mind- so they set up one of the extra rooms that was on the first floor. It already had a double bed, an end table, and an old dresser and then Yoongi brought down some of her extra blankets and clothes, so the room was somewhat familiar to her.

"Do you have enough blankets Y/N-ah or do you want someone to get some from your nest? Maybe some more pillows?" Yoongi fretted, wanting her to have enough materials so she could make a nest she'd feel comfortable and safe in, even if it'd only be a temporary one. Y/N was immediately averse to the suggestion, not wanting to take apart the first ever nest she made just to move it for a short amount of time even if she did want to make a nest.

"No, I think I'm fine. I don't want to pull stuff from my nest, plus this is only temporary so I can last with a smaller nest for a little bit." Y/N wasn't sure how true that statement was, knowing she'd prefer to sleep in a nest while in an unfamiliar room and in a more vulnerable state. Yoongi didn't like that idea at all. Even if it is temporary, Yoongi thinks Y/N should feel safe and relaxed at all times, which made Yoongi realize he should get extra nesting material for his room should Y/N ever want to build a nest in his den or if she just needed some extra nesting materials, like right now. He'd have to go out and do that as soon as he could.

Giving Y/N the chance to settle into her room, Yoongi went up to his office to see how things went in his absence before heading out to buy nesting supplies. As usual, Yoongi was pleased with what Jeongguk and Namjoon did in his absence. "Thank you again, you guys did amazing as always," Yoongi said, taking a quick glance over the few things Namjoon and Jeongguk didn't have the authorization to do.

"It's never any trouble Hyung," Jeongguk responded. "Hope your hospital stay didn't treat you too roughly."

"Well, let's just say I'm not exactly looking forward to ever having to spend the night there in the future," Yoongi chuckled. Jeongguk and Namjoon left Yoongi to get back to his work, though he left his office not long after they did, on a mission to get more nesting supplies than Y/N could ever dream of using.

As soon as Yoongi entered the nesting supplies store, he knew he was out of his depth. He was quickly overwhelmed by the sheer number of options they had. He considered going back home to ask Haru or Eunji for help but quickly thought better of it. Taste in nesting materials differed so much between omegas that they probably wouldn't be much help, and he wanted to do this himself. He knew which colors to get, knowing Y/N favored cooler colors, the hard part was figuring out what materials she preferred. He had yet to see her nest so he couldn't say for sure which materials she liked. He tried to think back on the few blankets she had brought down to the room she's staying in but second guessed himself wondering if she only brought those blankets down because she didn't care for the material as much and that's why they weren't in her nest. Yoongi quickly shook himself out of those thoughts before he spiraled, venturing towards the wide array of sample fabrics. He carefully felt over each sample multiple times over, trying to think which ones would appeal to Y/N the most. There were a few samples he immediately disregarded as options, knowing Y/N wouldn't care for the feel of it. He went through the samples multiple times, trying to imagine which ones would appeal to Y/N most. Ultimately, Yoongi settled on more types of blankets than he was sure he needed, but he was satisfied knowing his mate would have many options. With his purchases in hand, Yoongi headed home, placing all the nesting supplies neatly in his smaller closet. Picking out a few of the blankets, he took them down to Y/N's current room, only to find it empty. Figuring she was out on the deck reading; he left the blankets at the foot of her bed before going out to join his mate.
