The second day of the competition was in full swing with the first half of the day being used to finish out the rest of the matches that were fought in human form while the other half would be to start the matches in wolf form. In between the two halves of the competition for that day they had about a two-and-a-half-hour break and Y/N and Yoongi planned to use that time to the fullest.

Once the break had begun and the crowd began to disperse, the couple ran from the field like teenagers sneaking out past curfew. With their hands connected, Yoongi led the young Omega away from the field, away from the crowds, the buildings, everything. He led her through the vast territory until they came upon a small, secluded meadow about the size of a baseball field surrounded by a thick layer of trees, hiding it from anyone who didn't know it was there. "I stumbled on this a few years back. It's the place I go when really I want to be alone," Yoongi said as the pair broke through the tree line, revealing a meadow. The sight before them was almost like something out of a painting. The grass was moderately tall and soft, coming up to Y/N's mid-calf, frosted over with a thin layer of ice and a small pond on the far end of the meadow while the edges of the meadow were shaded by the tall, towering trees that acted as a sort of wall around the area. They stood in the middle of the meadow facing each other, their hearts beating erratically from excitement.

Y/N stood on her toes while pulling Yoongi to lean down by the collar of his unzipped jacket, giving him a small peck, mumbling a quiet, "See you in a bit," Before they both turned around, stripping out of their clothes.

It didn't take long for Yoongi to strip down as he was only wearing jeans, a T-shirt, and a jacket like he had the day before. His eyes shifted to a bright, glowing crimson as he let his wolf take over before tilting his head back, rolling his shoulders back with a low growl as his bones began cracking and reforming as pitch-black fur erupted from his skin till a large black wolf was left in his place. He sat back on his hind legs, waiting till Y/N had shifted herself as his gaze scanned around the area in front of him, making sure it was secure, his tail lightly wagging against the grass, thumping it against the ground in anticipation. Y/N though, was taking quite a bit longer to strip down as she was covered in multiple layers and she had taken her time to fold them before setting it down beside her while Yoongi had just tossed it onto the grass below.

Goosebumps quickly erupted onto her bare skin, but she didn't give herself time to dwell on it as her eyes went to a bright icy blue before her bones made the distinct cracking sound of someone shifting and almost immediately after, pure white fur erupted from her skin, instantly helping to warm her up some before a small white wolf was left in her place. Hearing that his mate had shifted and knowing Yoongi had already shifted, the two wolves turned around, meeting each other's gazes. It was blatantly apparent the size difference between the two. Just like in human form it was easy to see Y/N was noticeably smaller than Yoongi as his wolf towered over the Omega even from the distance between them.

Y/N took a second to just look at her mate, amazed at how beautiful his form was. Yoongi just sat there, letting Y/N look him over. Once Y/N was finished admiring her mate, she let out a happy yip, wagging her tail excitedly before bounding over to the Alpha. Yoongi quickly stood up, leaning his head down to connect his forehead with his Y/N's, both of them closing their eyes as their foreheads connected. They nuzzled their foreheads together for a few seconds before they moved their heads to nuzzle the sides of their snouts against the other's neck, lightly scenting as they did so. After a minute or so, the pair backed away from each other, giving themselves some time to take the other in, memorizing every detail till it was engraved in their minds, still brushing against each other every now and then.

They circled each other for a few minutes until Y/N crouched down in a playful position. Quickly understanding her body language, Yoongi darted after Y/N who had sprinted off the moment she saw the playful glint in his eyes. They ran around the meadow chasing each other, happily yipping and playfully nipping at each other as they did so. Y/N was faster than Yoongi had expected as she quickly darted across the field. He had to use a bit more energy than he thought he would need, enjoying the chase. Eventually catching up to Y/N, Yoongi tackled her to the ground, turning them to the side so she wouldn't take all the impact of the fall as they rolled around in the slightly damp grass for a bit before they settled on their sides facing each other. They scented against each other a bit, taking a moment to catch their breath before bolting up again, this time Y/N chasing after Yoongi. They continued this for a long time, taking turns chasing after each other, running across the expanse of their little hidden world.
