Y/N POV
In the end Somi did see us and ended up keeping us hostage for about twenty more minutes before we were finally able to slip away during the afternoon rush. We began to ascend up the hill to the house in exhausted silence. It was clear Eunji, Haru, and I were tired as we trudged up the hill, dragging our feet, our shoulders sagging as we practically dragged our bags against the ground, cursing the fact that we lived at the top of a hill. As the house came into view as the front door opened revealing a man and a woman that seemed to be in their early 70's angrily leaving the house. Even in their haste, they were quick to notice us, and their already perturbed expressions grew nearly murderous as their eyes landed on me. I glanced back at my friends, hoping they may be able to alert me as to who the strangers are, but I was met with my friends own murderous glares directed at the alphas. We remained stationary as they walked past us, their gazes holding a look of utter disgust as they looked down at me, making me feel smaller with each passing second. They didn't stay long, scoffing at us before making their way away from the house. I don't know who they were, but they resembled a certain Alpha I knew, making me curious about their attitude towards me and their hasty exit from the house. I didn't get long to mull over the interaction because everyone was already ushering me inside. "Who was that?" I asked as Haru and Eunji led me in the direction of their office while Jungkook took our bags upstairs.
"Yoongi's grandparents," Eunji answered, her voice full of disdain. "But let's not worry about that now, we're here to talk about you," she said, cutting me off from further questions as I sat on the closest bed while Eunji and Haru busied themselves with getting out their supplies. When they were finally ready to talk, Yoongi walked into the office, looking rather pissed, at least until he saw us. His gaze immediately softened as our eyes met before it morphed into one of worry.
"What happened?" He asked, probably assuming the worst since I was sitting on one of their hospital beds. He quickly walked up to me, gently cupping my face as he gave me a quick once over.
"Nothing too bad, my arm that I injured a while back started hurting from carrying all the bags, but Haru and Eunji said they may be able to fix it," I explained, giving a reassuring squeeze to his hands that were still cupping my cheeks. As I gazed at him I was finally able to notice the small cut on the side of his face that had just begun to scab over. I carefully reached up to cup his cheek, turning his head to the side to try and get a better look at his cheek.
"What happened to you?" I asked, worriedly gazing up at him, gently rubbing the apple of his cheek, just above the cut. He gently grabbed my wrist, tilting his head to lean into my touch.
"It's nothing, Angel. I'm fine," he said, leaning back slightly. "But what about you? Do you want me to stay with you?"
"No, don't worry about it," I said reassuringly. "They're only going to go over what's going to happen, and you have a meeting soon, you can't miss that." Yoongi nodded begrudgingly, kissing me on the forehead before leaving the room. Once he closed the door, I turned my full attention to Eunji and Haru. "So, you're really telling me you can fix my arm and leg?" I asked, slightly skeptical my injuries could be fixed after so long.
"Yes, that is the hope. Now looking at your X-ray..." Eunji said, pulling out my X-rays from when I first arrived. "As you can see these bones aren't aligned like they should be which indicates they didn't heal properly. Yours is a bit of a strange case because typically even without treatment the bone should be in better shape because of how fast we heal," Eunji said pointing at where the bones had broken while also showing me a scan of a different person with similar fractures that hadn't been healed, there was a drastic difference. I discreetly rubbed my palms against my jeans, trying to calm the panic creeping up my spine, fearing they might ask how my injuries had healed the way they did. "Now we should probably do this in a week so we can jump right into recovery. Once we do the surgery, if you are healing as fast as you should, we'll be able to start physical therapy two to three weeks after the surgery. Typically we wouldn't have a need to do physical therapy but with how you've healed at this point we just want to be safe but it shouldn't last long," Eunji finished off. I nodded slowly, trying to process everything they'd just said.
