Chapter Twenty-Eight:

"Lila leave. You're going to get sick." Frank commands me.

"I'm not going anywhere. You need to be looked after. Your mom couldn't leave work today Frank." I tell him firmly. I gently push him back into bed.

Frank was really sick this week, and he's been trying to keep me away. I never listen to him. Everyday after school I come straight over to his house with all his homework.

"I'm going to go make you some soup okay?" I go make him something warm to help.

"Lila you don't have to." He starts to get up, and I gently push him back. I give him a light kiss on the forehead.

I go ahead and head to the kitchen to prepare him something to eat. I also make tea with honey to help soothe his throat.

Once I head upstairs with everything he's sitting in bed. He looks so miserable it hurts me.

"Here drink some tea." I give him the mug.

"Thanks Lila." He looks at me lovingly.

----------

"Lila you should get some rest dear. I can take care of our patient." Frank's mom says kindly to me. "Thanks for taking care of him while I'm at work."

"Anytime." I kiss Frank on the forehead, and head out.

Frank's mom has been so happy since the two of us got together. She really likes us as a couple.

I get home to have dinner with my family.

"Lila!" Mikey says happily once I am home.

"Mikey!" I yell out.

The rest of the evening I hung out with my brothers.

----------

"Frank stop!" I tell him. He's finally healthy again, and back at school. He's doing his favorite sport. Bother Lila.

"Lila what happened?" He asks me while looking around to see who did it. I roll my eyes. He pinches me when I am not looking at plays like it's not him. I can't help but laugh.

"You are so annoying." I say. Then he begins to tickle me, and I try to get out of his grasp. He just pulls me in closer to his chest. I then give in, and am in his arms. I can't help but love staying this close to Frank.

"Ew get a room you two." Mikey says to us.

We are at lunch, and our usual table.
