My Silent Undoing (Frank Iero)

CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE

Chapter Twenty-Nine:

(Senior Year)

We are finally about to graduate. Frank, Mikey, and I. We are graduating in a month, and I can't believe it. The past year has been really cool and amazing.

Currently I am standing before a mirror and staring at my body. I weigh 115 pounds now, and I finally am feeling loads better than I used to be. So now I go to the gym, and staying healthy is my main goal. I have become so much stronger than what I used to be.

Frank and I are still a couple. We have been together for over a year now. I love him. He takes good care of me, and the Way family loves him.

"Lila! Frank's here!" Mrs. Way says. Though I have started to call her mom lately. I just feel so close to her than I ever did with my mom.

I quickly go down the stairs to find him standing there in his Nightmare Before Christmas hoodie, black pants, black converse, and a stupid grin on his face. I give him back a silly grin before I plummet myself into his arms. He laughs.

"Easy tiger," he gasps at the impact.

"Morning to you too," I sigh and rest in his chest. I love being in his arms.

Mikey came up behind me.

"Morning to you assholes too," he says with a smirk on his face when I turn to look at him.

We then quickly left the house while holding hands. We were on our way to our fitting for our graduation robes. Mikey was with us as well.

"It's finally happening," I say while I put on the blue robes. It was starting to sink in that a new chapter in my life was about to begin. I was about to start NYU in the fall, and I am extremely excited. Frank was joining me there as well. He wanted to major in English Literature, and I want to major in Management.

"Mikey!" I squeal in delight. He just rolls his eyes at me.

"Yes sissy," he calls me sissy sometimes. Which annoys me.

"We're graduating!" I smile widely and jump up and down in excitement. A bunch of girls pass by us, and Mikey blushes in embarrassment.

"You're so ridiculous." He says while turning away.

"Come on! This is so cool though." I smile, and the idiot brother I have finally looks at me and smiles.

"Yeah it is cool I guess. I'm over the people at this school anyway. Gerard wants to get coffee today. Family meeting." Mikey reminds me. I nod my head.

Since Gerard was always commuting between Jersey and NYC he was rarely home. When he was he was usually sleeping from exhaustion. He was working for Cartoon Network.

Yet the Way siblings tend to try and make one day a week available to have a coffee together and catch up.

Once in awhile the whole group gets together, but it's been a rare oddity. I miss our sleepovers and what not.

Frank comes up to me in his robes. He looks so adorable.

"Hey," he says with a smirk.

"Hi," I say shyly. He comes up to me, and kisses me gently on the lips. I smile widely at him.

"You look cute," he notes.

"You too," I say still smiling like an idiot.

"Idiots let's go! We finished our fitting!" Mikey says excitedly. He hated being at school more than he had to. Couldn't complain I was the same way. Frank is just so... distracting.
