i just noticed the difference in the way I write my Cyrus variants V/S the way I write my Magnus variants, and uh... I feel like I'm playing favorites AGAINST my actual favorite. Because I'm currently working on several Fire & Ice AU's, and to demonstrate this, I'm gonna tell you kind of how they stand in them.
First up we got Cyrus:
Fire & Ice: Brilliant scientist
Sea and Soldier: Powerful captain of a renowned pirate crew
Byronic: Columbia valedictorian and actually Spider-Man
My Camp Half-Blood AU: Favored child of the god of The Dead
Gods & Gladiators: A fucking. GOD.
But then there's Magnus:
Fire & Ice: Abused child soldier
Sea and Soldier: Prisoner
Byronic: Eddie Brock's financial situation + an incredibly rude parasite yapping in his head 24/7
My Camp Half-Blood AU: Disgraced child of the goddess of War
Gods & Gladiatorst: A LITERAL FUCKING SLAVE (to clarify: he's a gladiator, because just saying 'slave' has VERY different connotations)
Like do you see what I mean? There's preferential treatment here and I'm not even trying.
