Lexi seemed to be awake before anyone else. Being accustomed to the sunrise disturbing her slumber, Lexi was up well before anyone in the room even considered to stir. As she moved to sit up, she felt something move next to her, turning her head to see Liam sleeping next to her, cuddled into her side. Even in his sleep it seemed he was weary of hurting her because of her injury, which didn't seem to hurt as much since Scott had taken away most of her pain. He had his arm tucked into his side, wedged between his body and hers, as if he almost wanted to put his arm around her, but decided better not to. Lexi didn't know how she felt about it.
She turned her attention away from Liam to survey the room. Kira, Malia, and Lydia had transforemd the Stilinski lounge room into basically one giant bed on the floor, using all sorts of blankets and pillows to make it as comfortable as possible. And if she was going to be completely honest, it was probably one of the best sleeps she had had in her entire life. It was nothing compared to the cave she usuually slept in; there was no cold, hard ground, or leaking water, or the sounds of nature cries (not that she minded all those things. She once loved her home in the wild, a part of her still did, but still. It was nice not to have all those things for a change). This had a feeling, a sense that her cave - even her pack - didn't have. Home. This felt like a real home. Not hers, but someones that allowed her to be apart of it for just a moment. The fact that she wasn't woken up by the sun this time, just her body clock, was a bonas. However, the snoring werewolves were kind of a negative factor.
Scott, the one who probably snored the loudest, was asleep in the spot on the floor closest to the door, Kira's back held against his front. Lydia fell asleep on the couch next to them, while Malia was next to Lexi, Stiles supposed to be next to Malia. However, when she looked at the werecoyote, she noticed that Malia was cuddled up with the pillow that Stiles once occupied, the human out of sight. Seeing as though Lexi wouldn't be able to fall back asleep, she decided to go look for him,
She found him in the kitchen, leaning against the counter, eating a bowl of cereal. When he saw her enter, he lifted his spoon to give her a wave, and offered Lexi some food, to which she was not able to turn down.
"Morning," she mumbled, rubbing her eyes as Stiles retrieved a bowl and placed it in front of her.
Stiles went back to his position of leaning against the counter and eating. "How'd you sleep" He asked.
Lexi poured the cereal into her bowl, and then reached for the milk, which Stiles ended up passing to her. "I slept good. Better than ever, actually."
"You always up this early?" He asked while chewing.
She shrugged. "Yeah, pretty much, I guess."
As she ate, so concentrated on her food, Stiles couldn't help but stare at her. She looked so young, only sixteen, with blue eyes, darker than Liam's, and a hardened face. Lexi looked like the type of child who had their innocence ripped from them too early. In a way, Lexi resembled every single member of the pack, who had to grow up faster than they should've because of all the supernatural crap. But even as he stared at her, even as he identified a tiny bit of himself in her, he still couldn't help but have this feeling, like she was hiding something, and something big. And of course with the bad history of trusting people too soon and then being stabbed in the back, Stiles couldn't help but let his distrust in the omega take over. He was looking at her with that look he gave everyone he didn't quite understand, the look where he just wanted to interrogate them until he figured them out to the very bone. Lexi didn't seem to notice, too occupied with enjoying her breakfast.
Stiles wanted to know what Lexi's deal was, and badly.
"So," he started, shoving a spoonful of cereal into his mouth. "Where are you from?"
