All around Isabelle, noise stopped as people stared at her for a moment before rushing over to her. But she wasn't paying any attention to that. Oh no, she was paying attention to the blood on her hand and the blood that seemed to forming all over her body.
Jared was the first to make it over to her and he asked worriedly, "what's wrong baby?" He said this as he wrapped her in a hug.
Isabelle buried her into his chest and just cried. She also couldn't understand how he couldn't see the blood all over her body. She started to feel the pain all over, the pain she got while locked in that prison.
Feeling bile rise up in her throat, she pushed away from Jared and fell on the ground, puking up the contents in her stomach. After she was done, she was done, she looked up at Jared only to see all the blood that was all over him. She screamed and backed away before she hunched over crying.
She felt arms wrap around her and a hand stroking her head. She knew someone distantly was saying something to her but she couldn't focused on that as nightmares from her experience came up one by one. Him beating her, him tying her up any way he wanted too to beat her. And finally the last few days with him.
Tears poured out of her eyes as she saw this again and almost made her think that she was relieving the experience except it was the comforting arms around her that made her realize that none of that was happening.
A voice slowly started penetrating through to her ears saying, "it's okay baby, nothing's happening. You'll be okay sweetheart. It's all over." She also soon sensed that she was being rocked gently in this persons arms and she snuggled closer to him, taking comfort in it as sparks shot throughout her body.
Slowly, Isabelle calmed down enough to where she wasn't crying and her head pressed tightly against his chest. "What about all the blood?" she asked softly.
"What blood?" Jared asked confused.
She pulled back only to see no blood anywhere on her or Jared. "B-but there was blood everywhere. It was even on you!" she cried hysterically.
"Shh... baby," Jared told her calmly as he stroked her hair, "there's no blood. I promise, see?" He showed him himself and then even pointed to her, "there's no blood at all."
Isabelle calmed down again and leaned in against him murmuring, "can you just take me home? I don't want to stay here anymore."
"Of course," Jared replied as he picked her up and carried her back to the house saying some things to other people. But Isabelle didn't listen as she blacked out in his arms.
