Chapter 19: Hungry (Part 2)

Isabelle woke up a few hours later after a long needed sleep. She had been so exhausted it had been well deserved.

Instantly, she looked around for her baby girl eventually spotted her in Jared's arms sound asleep. She let out a sigh and softly smiled looking at her baby girl. She was so beautiful, and peaceful, but Isabelle knew that it wouldn't always be like this.

She reached out for Olivia and asked Jared softly, "can I hold her?"

Jared looked up, as if startled by her talking and didn't know that she was awake. He nodded and slowly put Olivia in her arms. "Of course darling." He kissed her head softly and sat back in the chair, pulling it even closer than it already was. "She's so beautiful," he said softly.

"Yes she is," Isabelle agreed and stared down at their daughter lovingly.

Olivia woke a couple minutes later and started crying. Isabelle became worried, what was wrong? She then realized that she must be hungry so she started feeding her.

When Olivia was settled, Isabelle looked up and asked Jared, "where are my parents?"

"They're here, they just left to get something to eat. They didn't know when you would wake up and decided now was a better time then ever to do this. They are also bringing you and me back something since they know you don't want this crappy hospital food."

Isabelle nodded as she let out a yawn, still waking up from her sleep. "Great, and they're right, I don't want hospital food. It's gross. Well, most of it is anyways." She remembered one time that she had gotten a breakfast sandwich here before and it was actually really good.

"They'll be back any moment," Jared continued and as if on cue, her parents walked in with a couple bags and two boxes or pizza, along with bread sticks.

Isabelle licked her lips when she saw and smelt this. "Mmm... that smells so good." She really wanted a piece it smelled. If Olivia wasn't in her arms, she would be reaching over and grabbing a slice out of the box to grab it right away when they walked in.

Instead, she reached her hand out for a slice and asked, "can someone please hand me one? I'm famished."

Jared laughed and grabbed one the pizza boxes from her parents and handed her one. Isabelle made sure not to touch Olivia or bother her while she ate it.

"What? No hello? No thank you?" her mom asked as she crossed her arms and looked at her.

She shrugged, "I'm hungry. What do you expect right now? Especially after going through birth?"

Kristin sigh and shrugged, "I know. I went through the same thing you did, though not to the same extent since I'm not a wolf."

"I know, and thank you for the pizza." She quickly wolfed down the first slice and then remembered something that had caused her to go into labor in the first place.

"Mom? What were you talking about when you were saying that you were a witch?"

Grr.... I'm so sorry for the long wait but I had so many things going on for the last couple weeks I barely had time to write and when I did, I was catching up on my reading so I wouldn't be behind so I'm sorry! I'll try to be better but I don't know how well that'll work out. I even went out of order in updating just to update this for you guys. But thank you for sticking with this story so far, I'm glad ya'll like it! Also, goal, 20 vote till next chapter.
