Unwinding Fate

Epilogue

The sun shone down on the rippling water as the gentle wind caused it to ripple. Over in the sand children were building sandcastles. Three of them the ages of eight, one seven, and two five. They were split up into groups to see who could make the biggest and best sand castle. Not far away, two women were watching over them and helping to build one with the two little ones who could not build a sand castle on their own.

A guy snuck up behind one of them and lifted up without any warning to the person saying, "boo! I've got you now!"

The girl screamed in fright and then yelled, "Jared! Put me down!"

Jared laughed and did what his wife told him to do. "Fine love. But I'll have you later, don't you doubt on that. Besides we still have one more child to go before we can make my mom get off our case about having five of them."

Isabelle rolled her eyes, "yeah, yeah. But she can live. There's no need to rush. If she wanted so many kids, why didn't she have more herself? She could have a load of grandchildren instead of having to rely on just us."

Jacob laughed, "it's the mysteries of mothers wanting grandchildren. Who knows?" He sat down in the sand behind her and wrapped his arms around her stomach. "But we have four beautiful ones as of right now."

They did. Over the last eight years they've had four children. The oldest of course Olivia, followed by Christian, who was seven, then Mason, who was five, and then Jessica who was now two years old. Life had been very busy for them but they always made time for family.

Luke and Abby also had two more children, one that was also five, Liliana, and Blake was three years old. They weren't planning on having any more children but you never knew what fate had in store for you.

Abby's parents weren't happy when they first found out about well.... all of it. They were out of the loop for a long time and hadn't even realized Abby had a baby, actually twins instead, until afterwards. They knew about Luke, but not the twins. Abby didn't know how to tell them she was pregnant so young. They eventually got over it and now were happy, they just didn't quite know about the werewolf thing yet.

Isabelle's and Daniel's powers died down but didn't completely disappear. There was no need for the use of their power so it had weakened, but they knew if there was trouble ever again, they would have their powers back to full strength.

They were all happy. Isabelle leaned back against her husband. They had gotten married not long after the war and Jared had proposed to her romantically. Apparently, he was going to propose the day they were at the beach on her birthday but that didn't happen so he had to do something else. She let out a sigh as she watched everyone around them. Her parents were busy grilling food for lunch along with Jared's, Abby's, and Luke's. They were all chatting away. Abby and now Luke was helping build a sand castle with the two little ones. They were celebrating Mason's birthday today.

"Life turned out good, didn't it?" she asked softly.

"Yes, it did." Jared answered and kissed her head.

They watched everything around them, not having to worry about anything anymore besides their family. Everything was good.

Yay! Then end! I'm sorry it took so long! I had no idea what I was going to be doing for this. It may be bad, but what do you think of the ending? And I'm sorry I was absent for so long, college classes and regular classes have now been getting in the way. But do you like the ending? Yes or no? I won't be offended if you don't. And I've been postponing writing this because I didn't want the story to end! But it finally did and I'm sad. Is anyone else sad too?

Oh! And incase you didn't notice, I used names for all the children that you guys suggested! So congratulations if you reconginze a name you suggested!
