Chapter 10

(Katie's POV)

"Back the fuck up, you're lying. That it's not true, that's not your child, Madison doesn't even know her." I say shaking my head, he sighs and sits up straighter.

"You know when Madison and I separated?" He asks me and I nod slowly.

"Well, I took that trip to California and Maya was there." He says trying to get his point across, I nod and try to understand.

"Wait, so you slept with Maya? One of your exes and Madison's old friend? Boy did you screw up." I say shaking my head, he gives me a look and I shrug.

"Look, I know this is huge, but I can't have Madison knowing, when we separated I was upset so I needed to take my mind off of things. She went to Shawn's that weekend anyway." He says shrugging and I roll my eyes.

"Yeah but she didn't sleep with him, even though you guys were separated and he was her ex. She stuck to you, she didn't sleep with Carter." I say shaking my head, he looks down at his hands and shakes his head.

"Kay, I know what I did was wrong, I know, but I can't help that she got pregnant, I can't turn back the clock and not sleep with her, it was a huge mistake but I have an amazing daughter out of it." He says with a small but a bright smile making me smile.

"So how do you keep her away from Madison? Like where do you sleep?" I ask him, he laughs and claps his hands together.

"Next door actually." He says making my jaw drop, I shake my head chuckling.

"There is no way I missed that." I say shaking my head even more.

"Well you did, actually Hayes helped me with it." He says making my jaw drop, I slap him and he laughs.

"I can't believe he didn't even say anything." I say shaking my head and chuckling.

"Yeah well he didn't want you telling Madison, which you still can't." He says nodding, I nod and look down then back up smiling.

"Can I meet her?" I ask spreading my smile even wider, he nods and stands up outstretching his hand, I smile hopping up and following him out of my house and a few doors next to us, he sticks his key in the door and unlocks it, I hear women's voice and Cameron also gives a strange look to it and I follow him into a room.

"What're you doing here?" Cameron asks seeing the woman with Danielle, I smile and she gets down and runs to Cameron.

"I just came by and she said you weren't here, so I was going to stay here and watch her until you came back." She says with her strong jersey voice, I turn to Cameron and he chuckles nervously picking up Danielle.

"Oh, Katie this is Gage, Gage this is my sister, Katie." He says introducing us, I smile and she smiles back.

"So Gage, are you another one of Cameron's secrets?" I say jokingly, Cameron slaps my arm and I laugh looking at him.

"No, Gage is my babysitter." He says nodding towards Danielle, I nod and put my arms out.

"Danielle, I want you to meet your suck ass aunt Katie." He says making her laugh, I slap his arm and she puts her arms out for me, I smile taking her and placing her on my hip.

"So you're daddy's sister?" She asks me, I nod smiling and she smiles laying on my shoulder.

"Alright Gage you can leave now. I'll walk you out." Cameron says, she nods and says goodbye to Danielle and I before following Cameron out.

"Daddy is lying to you, she's not my babysitter. He used to bring her home and kiss her and love her a lot." She says, I nod taking it all in and realizing, Cameron is cheating on Madison.
