Chapter 31

(Matthews POV)

I walk upstairs looking for Katie, I look in our room and then Madi's, but then end up finding her lying in Hayes' bare arms, I roll my eyes and creak the door shut slowly.

"Hey." I hear and I open it back up and see Hayes sitting up.

"Dude I don't want to fi-" he cuts me off, "we're just friends." he whispers and I look at him, he shoos me out and follows me shutting the door.

"She's all yours, okay? We've agreed to be friends. Only." he shakes his head and I look down crossing my arms across my chest.

"Only?" I ask him and he nods closing his eyes.

"Fine, but I'm gonna wake her up and ask her." I say pointing my finger at him, he moves showing the door with his arms.

"Thank you." I say moving my head back and forth twisting the knob and going in quietly, I see the covers moving and ruffling making me smile a little.

"Katie." I drag out the letters, she hums and sits up.

"Whatcha doin in here?" I ask her sitting on the end of the bed and she smiles coming to me on her knees and lays her head on my shoulder and curls into me.

"I was sleeping with my drunk best friend." she mumbles and I chuckle kissing her forehead.

"Are you sure it's your best friend?" I ask her and she nods slowly and looks up at me.

"You're it, you've always been it." she smiles and kisses me, I lay back and grab her hips.

"I love you." I mumble and she hums pulling away.

"I know." she shrugs and I smile, she stands up and puts her hand out and stands me up.

"So when are we going to Disney? I'm ready." I whine and she laughs.

"Ask my brother." she says and I pout, she smiles and walks out.

"Everything is as is with the world." Hayes says and I roll my eyes and walk out behind Katie, he stops me while Katie walks downstairs.

"I still love her. Treat her like the priceless woman she is." he says sternly and I nod, we fist bump and I walk downstairs.

"Why are you guys not ready? Today is Disney world day!" Cameron questions, I look at Katie and Andrea who aren't ready either.

"Well you won't leave without Andrea, so I'm good." I nod patting his shoulder and walking to Katie.

"Bet I will." He says and Andrea looks at him with a face.

"Bet you'll take Maggie." She scoffs and begins to walk away.

"I will." he shrugs and Katie looks at him with wide eyes, he shrugs and pushes past Andrea.

"I hate him." Andrea says turning to us and Katie hugs her as a tear rolls down her cheek.

"I'm- gonna go get ready." I stutter and turn away.

"wait no, I'm sorry." Andrea stops me sniffling and I turn back.

"I'll talk to cam okay?" I nod and she looks down, I look at Katie and she nods, I go upstairs and look for Cameron.

I pass Maggie's room and see Cameron's figure there, i go back and see he has his hands on her hips and their faces are really close.

"Cameron!" I whisper yell, his head snaps and Maggie turns him back making out with him.

"stop!" Cameron yells pulling her off him and her stumbling back a little.

"ow!" she screams as loud as possible, my eyes widen as she stumbles on her foot, she begins to fall and I catch her.

"what's-" Katie says coming in with Maggie and I face to face, I drop her and she groans.

"Kay, it's not-" I start but she cuts me off.

"I don't care, just make sure she's okay." she says and with that, she walks out.

(Katie's POV)

"Cole slip on your shoes! everyone is waiting!" I yell and he begins to cry from that.

"ugh! Hayes!" I yell out the door, Hayes runs in a couple of seconds later and sees Cole.

"what'd you do?" he asks in a joking yell, we both sort of chuckle and he picks up Cole.

"hey buddy, let mama put on your shoes okay?" he says to him and he nods wiping his tears on his shoulder, I pick up the little sneakers he has and slip them on with no trouble.

"okay buddy." he says putting him down and patting his back, Cole runs out and I make sure the door is locked.

"ugh, Coles too big, I want another." I groan shutting it, Hayes laughs and I look at him.

"I really don't know what to say." he says and I give him a look, he smiles widely and jogs to Madi's car, where like ten other people are riding, I get in Cameron's car, with Nash, Matthew, Cole, and Emily.

"Cole and Emily have to double buckle." Cameron says and I nod sitting in the middle beside both Matthew and the kids, he kisses me and I kiss him, and then I buckle up.

"let's go to Disney world!" Cole shouts and Emily and Nash whoop with him, I roll my eyes and smile.

we park in the heroes section and all of us group up, "so the kids will be on a schedule! if you do not fulfill your duties as a babysitter, slash parent, well good job, were one kid down." Cameron says to everyone, I shake my head with Madi as most people look at us.

"please children stay with your guardian or parent at all times!" Cameron adds looking at Matthew, Nash and the kids.

"hey-" Matthew and Nash start, but Cameron turns around.

"carts are here." he looks back smiling and we all get on.

"mommy, do we have to ride in those trains? I'm scared." Cole says hiding into me and I nod.

"but don't worry it's not scary." I say patting his back and kissing his curly hair.

"what's wrong?" Hayes asks putting his arm around Madi's shoulder and looking back at us, I keep glancing down at his arm beginning to talk.

"um, he's a little scared, is all, he's fine." I shrug smiling and Hayes cocks his eyebrow looking at his arm and facing forward, I know he's my best friend, and I do have Matthew, but he's my ex-husband, can't I be jealous?
