(Katie's POV)

"not only am I dating your ex-husband, you and him are best friends, it's weird!" Madi says and I laugh popping a fry into my mouth.

"it's definitely weird, but that doesn't mean you can't do it." I shrug while chewing my food, she rolls her eyes smiling and I sip my drink.

"look, just don't think about us being exes, I do it, or try anyway." I shrug and she looks at me with her eyebrows raised.

"forget we're dating for a second, okay?" she pauses and I nod, "you still like him don't you?" she asks and I begin to choke on my drink and shake my head.

"mhmm, and Matthew is just a way to get your mind off of him." she says and I look away.

"stop okay? you're just looking for reasons not to date Hayes, he's happy with you, I'm happy with Matthew, stop making things up for the sake of yourself." I tell her and she folds her arms.

"well here they are." she smiles once they walk next to the table and sit beside both of us.

"mm fries." Matthew says stealing some of mine, he kisses my cheek and I smile with my lips.

"ahem, cute." Hayes speaks up, "but if we're going on roller coasters, you might want to stop eating." he finishes and I look him in the eyes.

"ugh, can we just go?" Madi says standing up, I nod and Matthew takes my trash and goes to throw it away along with Madi.

"Hayes, stop making this difficult. I made my decision." I snap at him as we walk the other direction.

"what are you talking about?" he asks looking at me and then smirks.

"dick." I mumble and he grabs my hand and raises my middle finger than points it at me.

"okay you two, break it up." Matthew says coming in between us and grabbing my hand, I look up at him and he looks down at me.

"mwah." I say after kissing his cheek, he laughs and I lean my head on his arm.

"c'mere babe." Hayes says and slings his arm around Madi who looks extremely uncomfortable, I shake my head slightly and look up.

"your turn." Cameron smiles in front of us and hands me Coles hand, and Maggie hands Emily's hand to Hayes, he rolls his eyes watching them walking away.

"pure disgustion." Hayes scoffs and I look at him.

"mommy uncle Cameron kissed her." Cole says scrunching his nose, I nod and squat to his height.

"they're together now Cole, it's what people do when they get together." I tell him and he nods.

"but what about aunt Andrea?" he asks and I shake my head.

"she's okay. in fact here she comes now." I smile looking up and seeing her with Kian.

"hey, we're about to go ride some kiddy rides, we can take the kids?" Andrea says pointing at the kids, I smile at Cole and he nods excitedly.

"alright go munchkin." I say and he kisses me before running off to her and with Emily.

"well that lasted two minutes." Madi jokes and we all laugh.

"are you really complaining though?" Matthew laughs and I nod.

"I love my baby." I say pouting and he laughs.

"Cole is like four feet now, he's not a baby." Matthew smiles looking down at me and I shake my head.

"he gets it from me." Hayes says and Matthew and I look at him, he looks at is and I widen my eyes at him, he turns away smirking and I look at Matthew, I kiss him when he leans down and we continue walking.

"dude, look at Katie's face!" Hayes laughs, while I ring my hair out.

"well you try getting splashed in the eyes with water!" I say with my hand out and Madi nods.

"it's okay babe, I like you wet." Matthew smirks and I hit him on the chest, he laughs and I shake my head, I look over at Madi as she watches Hayes watch me.

"let's go find some place to sit, I'm tired." Madi speaks up and I nod.
