I'm In Love With A Player

Monday..

It was a Monday. Oh how I dreaded Mondays.. They were so boring and tired,I guess our bodies still hadn't adjusted to the fact that it wasn't the weekend anymore. I walked into first period,walking all slowwww like and drooping around. "Good Morning Ms. Verrance", the teacher Ms.Patterson said to me. "Oh good morning", I said in a tired voice. I walked to my seat in the back of the classroom,where I was sat with my 2 best friends,Destini and Jaharee. Atleast, I could count on them to brighten my Monday,being that they were the first of my friends I saw everyday. At the same time they both said, "morning Jasmine". I greeted them back and sat down. As soon as the bell rang, the teacher began her lesson on human biology. Ugh.. I was trying to take notes incase we had a pop quiz or something,when Destini slid a piece of paper onto my desk. I opened it and read:

Hey booooo,aren't you excited about today?

I was confused. What was she talking about? I wrote back:

umm,what's happening today??

She got the note back and looked at me shocked. She quickly scribbled something onto the paper and threw it onto my desk.

Jasmine,you're boyfriend comes back today,duhhh.

Oh crap. I was so tired this morning I didn't even remember that my own boyfriend was coming back today. I felt like such a bad girlfriend. I looked at Destini and mouthed the words,"I forgot". She smirked and looked back at Ms.Patterson.

I didnt have Patrick in any of my classes,well,because he was a grade higher than me. But we were still the same age. I didn't get a chance to see him until our mid-day locker break. I scanned the hallways,eager to see him. I finally spotted him at his locker,taking out his books. Before I could even try to get his attention,he looked up at me. We both smiled at each other and he mouthed the words, "I love you". I blushed uncontrollably and said, "I love you too".
