Destini Found Out

I walked over to my seat and smiled nervously,"Hey guys. What's going on?". They stared at me for a while before Destini walked over to me and said,"I heard. Jaharee told me he likes you and that you found out last night. Why the hell didn't you tell me?" She seemed mad. "I'm sorry. It wont happen again boo." She seemed a bit more relieved and then gave me a quick hug and mumbled"It's Okay" into my shoulder. When she sat down, I turned my attention to Jaharee and cringed at how careless he seemed about the whole situation. "And you sir! Why didn't you tell me this earlier. Maybe then I could've told you that..." I stopped myself. Both Destini and Jaharee stood up at the same time. "Tell me what?" Jaharee said. I shrugged and sat down. They both sat down when the teacher walked in and started the lesson. We eventually made it to lunch and we were all complaining about  how hungry we were. Me and Destini sat at our table while Jaharee went and sat with his other guy friends. Destini hurried and sat down next to me and stared into my eyes. I looked at her strangely and asked,"What?" Our convo went like this:

What you feeling?

I looked confused even though I knew exactly what she meant.

What you mean? I said a little too calmly.

How you feeling bout this whole Jaharee situation?

I shrugged and looked down at my food. She straightened up and gave me a stank look.

Umm you finna tell me. She said,a mean edge to her voice.

Alright fine, I honestly don't know how I'm feeling right now. Because I mean I love Patrick with all my heart, but Jaharee makes me smile,blush,laugh..idk...i just.. ughhh.

She looked at me with sad eyes,and said,"I know how you feel. It's all gonna be okay. I promise. But I will tell you that you need to make up yo damn mind". She snapped back into her usual self. I shook my head and said, "I know..." then we just finished eating our food. I went the rest of the day thinking nonstop. I couldn't help it. I didn't see Patrick until the end of the day when everybody was going home. He looked pissed. I rushed over to him and jumped in front of him to prevent him from going any further. He looked down at me with anger in his face. "What happened?" I asked him,suddenly scared at his facial expression. His eyes filled with sadness and depression. "I got suspended" he managed to sputter out before running off. I couldn't believe it. I rushed home and ran into my room and locked the door behind me. I jumped on my bed and started crying. I didn't stop for hours. Later that night I felt my phone vibrate on my bed beside me. I lifted my head from the pillow and wiped the tears from my face before unlocking my phone. It was a text from Destini.

Hey chicka. How come you haven't texted me all day?

I smiled at the text and replied.

Sorry, I found out some news about Patrick and I'm not real happy about it.

Right after that my phone vibrated again but it was a text from Patrick.

Hey babe,sorry I ran off earlier. I had to calm down a bit. Some teacher suspended me for a stupid ass reason. And umm..I have to tell you something...

I felt worried. I replied immediately.

What is it??

A few minutes later I got a text back.

I'm moving to Texas with my dad.

I was so upset.. I texted Destini everything and then just went  to bed. I didn't even want to be awake anymore.. The next morning I woke up and took my time getting to school. I was in my "IDGAF" mood today. I waltz into first period and as soon as I sat in my seat I put my head down. I was so freaking depressed. I was woken up by Destini shaking my shoulder telling me to get my lazy ass up. Oh how I love my bestfriend. We went to lunch and I cried the entire time...
