I'm In Love With A Player

Destini Finds Love(:

Since the sleepover, me and Destini been tight as hell. No arguments, nothing. It ain't been like this in a long time, but I guess we just kinda bonded a little more and now NOTHING is coming between us. 

It was the Monday after the sleepover, and everybody had just got to school. Me, Destini, and Jaharee were sitting in our usual spot on the bleachers. I looked over and saw that Destini was staring into space, blushing uncontrollably. She caught me looking at her and looked embarrased. "What? I wasn't thinking about anybody", she said. Me and Jaharee looked at her confused.. "Um, no one said anything to you Dee", I said finally. Destini sighed, "Ok fine. I've got to tell you guys something.. I have a boyfriend." Jaharee rolled his eyes like his usual self, looking disappointed that it wasn't something else. I, being myself, was absolutely thrilled for her. I jumped out of my seat on the bleachers and started throwing questions at her. "Omg that's great! What's his name? Is he cute? How long have you known him?". She rolled her eyes and looked away. "His name is Kasen, and I've known him for 6 years. We've been best friends since we met and we just found an interest in each other I guess."  "Awww" , I cooed. "And he's fine as hell too", she said back to her regular self. We laughed about it and  then they dismissed us to class.

When we got to class Destini was still smiling. As soon as she sat down in her seat, she pulled out her phone and started texting somebody. I've never known her to do that so of course I asked. "You're texting in class? That's not you, who is it?" She gave me a smirk. I didn't ask anymore questions because I knew what that meant. Kasen.. 

She spent nearly the whole day texting Kasen. And I ain't gone lie, she seemed lovestruck. She's NEVER been like this about a guy and I was glad she was so happy. I was hoping he would treat her right, because it was nice to see her like this. I loved it, and I knew she did too. 

The day was over, and I said my goodbyes to Jaharee and Destini and went home. I texted Destini as soon as I got home and she STILL seemed happy over text. Damn girl.. Me and Jaharee had one of those awkward convos again(I was gonna have to do something about that),but I wasn't gonna let that get in the way of my happiness for Destini. It was just so cute(: I hope they last.
