Butterflies

*2 weeks later*

Summer vacation started a week ago. It's been 2 weeks since me and Quad admitted we like each other, and I've had butterflies ever since. I liked him ALOT, and of course Destini was all in it. I told her and she's been trying to hook us up since. But I still don't know if it's a good idea because of Jaharee. I just really don't want me and Quad to get together and have it be ruined because of stupid rumors or something. Jaharee is unpredictable.

Since it's summer I decided to go chill with Destini for a while. I texted her and told her I would be over in a few minutes. She said "Ok." and I headed over there. When I got there, our friend Marcus was sitting on their porch eating hot cheetos. I snuck up behind him and snatched the bag and ran. "Ayee girl gimme back my damn cheetos!!" I just laughed and kept on running around the house. When I got back on the porch I locked the screen door so he couldn't get in. When he got to the screen door, I started eating the hot cheetos. Them guys was TOO GOOD. He saw me and got mad as hell. Haha, he started cursing me out but I didn't care. I finished the bag and unlocked the screen door. He snatched the bag from me and looked inside and got disappointed. I just giggled and knocked on Destini's door.

She came outside and looked at Marcus confused. I told her everything and she bust into laughter. Marcus went home and it was just me and her. I already knew what she was gonna talk about. -_-

"Soooo you talked to my cousin lately?" , she asked with a smirk. "Nope, not since two weeks ago", I said. She grinned mischieviously and I looked at her confused. "Ohhh Jazzy Jazzy Jazzy.. You don't know my power", she said. I raised an eyebrow at her and giggled. She smirked again and this time I was really curious. "Ok Destini what do you know and what do you have planned?", I asked her. "Well, I guess you'll just have to find that out for yourself. Or just waited until I work my magic." 

I was instantly filled with curiosity. Ugh, but I knew she wasn't going to tell me anything.. So I guess I just had to wait and find out.

*1 week later*

"Jazzzyyyybooooooo!!" I woke up to Destini hovering over me. "Ughhh, 5 more minutes", I rolled over on my stomach. I heard her mumble something and then grab my leg. She pulled me off the bed and then rolled me over on my back. I blinked to get used to the light coming in from the window. "What time is it?", I asked her still half asleep. "It's noon so get yo lazy ass up!!". I rolled my eyes and tried to get back on the bed but she grabbed my arm and pulled me to the bathroom. "Now take yo damn shower and hurry up so we can go", she said. "Where are we going" I asked. "To the mall girl now come on". I hopped in the shower and started humming Simon Says by Bandit Gang Marco. When I got out, I dried off and went to my closet. I picked out my white levis, my pink converse, and a pink and black v-neck. I left my hair curly and put it in a ponytail. When I was finished, Destini knocked on the door asking if she could come in. I opened the door and she was wearing almost the same thing I was. "Ready?", she asked. I nodded. I grabbed my phone and we headed out. 

The whole ride to the mall Destini was blaring Tupac. Man I swear she loved that man!! She was in the middle of rapping Hail Mary when we pulled up to the mall. We got out of her Audi and went inside. The first place we went to was Hollister. When we came out we had 6 bags each.  We went inside almost every store there and after 4 hours we decided it was time to go. When we got to Destini's car Kasen was leaning on the hood. Destini got wide-eyed and ran over there. She put her bags in the backseat and then ran into his arms and kissed him. I put my bags in the backseat and then gave him a hug. "What you doing here baby?", Destini asked Kasen. "I'm here to pick you up", he said. She grinned but then looked over at me. "I'm sorry boo I can't. I brought Jasmine and we came here in my car.", she said. He smirked then looked behind us. We turned around and Quad was getting out of Kasen's car and walking towards us. I could feel my face getting hot. Destini looked up Kasen,"Babe what is this?". "Well I was thinking we could all go to dinner. But since we got two cars, we could have two people in each car.", he said. We all agreed and decided that we would go to Fuddruckers. Of course, Destini got in her car with Kasen, and I got in Kasen's car with Quad. This was going to be an interesting ride.

As soon as we got in the car Quad put in a Mariah Carey CD. I looked at him and bust out laughing. He giggled and said, "Ayee now don't flex, you know you like Mariah Carey." I just laughed some more and looked out the window. After a few more minutes of driving. I felt something warm touching my hand. I looked down and Quad had entangled our fingers together. I looked at him and he just looked at the road. But I could see his not so hidden smirk. I turned back to the window and blushed uncontrollably. 

We pulled up to Fuddruckers and Quad turned off the car. He looked down at our still entangled fingers, and then looked up at me. It felt like his gaze was completely melting me. "Damn ma", he said smirking. "What", I said. "You got a nigga feeling some type of way". He leaned in and I could feel his breath on my neck. His lips brushed mine, and then he planted a gentle kiss on my cheek. He pulled away and licked his lips. "There's more where that came from". I just smirked and got out of the car.
