Time To Move On

I didn't get a text back for a while so I tried to ease my mind. Me and Destini were planning on a "girl's weekend" and I was hoping to forget about all of this. 

The bell rang for the end of the day and everybody rushed outside. I walked outside with Destini and Jaharee and could feel my mind relax a bit. Everything seemed to be going ok.. Until my phone vibrated. I didn't even have to look before I knew who it was... Patrick. I was scared.. I knew this conversation was gonna come up eventually, but I didn't want it to.

I said my goodbyes when I saw my mom pull up and I got in the car. She told me that my sisters were gonna be gone this Friday and I got happy as hell. Now I didn't have to persuade them to go to their grandma's house so I can chill with Destini. I was anxious, but out of the corner of my eye I saw my phone light up. Damn, I forgot about the inbox from Patrick. I decided to wait until I got home to open it.

Mom pulled up to the house and said she had to go to work early today so she just dropped us off. I opened the door and ran to my room and closed the door. I guess we had to go ahead and get this conversation out of the way.  I unlocked my phone and read the inbox.

What isn't? If it's about the whole long distance thing.. I agree. I didn't wanna bring it up first but yea this isn't realy working...

Holy shit was I relieved. I thought it was about to be some big argument or something but he felt the same way! I was scared for nothing.. I replied back immediately.

Omg I'm so relieved.. I'm glad you feel the same way. I just didn't wanna go through not seeing or talking to you anymore.. 

He was online so I got an instant reply back.

It's cool.. We can still be friends though right?

Yea, of course.

I was beyond happy. I think we both were since we didn't have to go through any of it anymore. I texted Destini and Jaharee right after that and told them what happened. They were kinda shocked.. but happy that I was happy. Everything seemed right now. I was glad it was finally time to move on.
