Hidden Feelings

It was the end of the day and me and Destini were walking to the park today. We were just talking when out of no where she brought up Quad. She was talking about his party but I wasn't even listening. For some odd reason I was actually thinking about Quad. My face got hot and I could tell I was blushing. Destini glanced over at me, "Are you even listening to me?" Her voice snapped me out of my thoughts and I looked at her embarrassed. "And why are you blushing?", she said confused. I just looked away trying to cool myself down. I should've known I wasn't getting away with it that easily. Destini jumped in front of me and wouldn't let me move. "NOW GIRL YOU BETTER TELL ME WHY YOU WAS OVER HERE BLUSHING AND NOT LISTENING TO A WORD I WAS SAYING". I still didn't say anything. She looked away and shook her head. Then I saw her eyes widen and she gasped, "You were blushing over Quad!!" Oh gosh my face was getting heated again. Dammit Destini.. 

I tried to ignore her the best I could but she was all in my face the whole walk to the park. When we finally got there I guess she got fed up with me not responding to her so she dragged me to the swings. "What you doing man??", I managed to say between the hard yanks and jerks. She didn't answer me and just threw me in one of the swings. "Now tell me why you were blushing about Quad.", she demanded. "Nope, you cant make me", I said sticking my tongue out at her. She gave me and evil glare followed my a smirk. Then I experienced something I hadn't experienced since my elementary years. She was twisting the swing around. Oh no.. 

I hated this because when the twisted it for a while they let it go and it spun you around making you dizzy. One time I got so sick I threw up. Ughh, I did not want a repeat of that. Right when I was going to tell her it was too late. She had already let go. I was spinning and getting dizzier and sicker by the second. When it finally stopped I hopped off the swing and ran to the slide. I  layed down on it and tried to calm my head and stomach. She hovered over me seemingly pleased with her actions. I had been defeated by a fucking swing.....

After I was calmed down, I decided to tell her. So we both walked over to the monkey bars and sat in front of them in the woodchips. I was nervous so I picked some up and started playing with them. I looked up and she was looking at me eager. I sighed and began to tell her. "Ok so umm... I've had a little crush on Quad since I saw him at the Spencer game last year. And I didn't really wanna tell you because I thought it would be weird.. but I have no choice now since you just almost killed me over there." We both giggled a little. I sighed, "Man look Destini, I know you and yo cousin close, but can you keep this between me and you please? Just this once.." She looked disappointed but then agreed. We hugged and then we started going our separate ways. I put in my headphones and started listening to Bandit Gang Marco. I was too deep in my thoughts I swear.. I wanted to tell Quad, I really did.. but I wasn't going to risk something happening between us because of Jaharee.. I wanted to make sure he was COMPLETELY out of the picture..
