*JASMINE POV*

The sun poured into the window and woke me up due to the amount of heat on my face. I opened my eyes and heard something hit the wall. I got a feeling in my stomach that something really bad was happening

today.

I just hoped I was wrong.

I got up and stretched my arms out and yawned. I layed out an outfit that was good for the weather and moved into the bathroom to start my routine.

The 10 minutes I was in the shower felt heavenly. It cleared my head and left me stress free even though I knew it wouldn't last for long. Sighing, I turned off the water and got out. I dried myself off and decided to let my hair stay curly today, so I just towel dried it a little. I moved into the room and put on my clothes and did a little prayer.

"Lord please don't let anyone get hurt today.."

I walked downstairs and heard the familiar sound of Call of Duty. I inched around the corner and walked into the living room. Destini greeted me and Quad hadn't realized I was in the room. I walked up behind him and hugged him then kissed his cheek. He look at me for a second and then grabbed my face and kissed me. "I love you Jasmine, and NOBODY will ever take you away from me", he said. I nodded and kissed him again. "I love you too."

Destini cooed at this and then went to wake up Kasen I guess, leaving me and Quad alone. He set me on his lap and intertwined our fingers, looking down at them. "So you're not mad at me?", I asked out of pure curiosity. He shook his head. "Not at you...at him for having the audacity to tell you he feels something for you, knowing damn well you're taken.", he says all in one breath. The anger in his eyes is evident and I can't help but get chill bumps.

"You know I only love you,right?", I said looking into his eyes. He nodded, "and it's the same for me", he added sweetly. We kissed once more and I moved off of his lap. "Come on lazy, we have things to do", I said to him pulling him off of the couch. He groaned and slouched over me. I laughed at him and pulled him off of me. "Really babe, come on", I said. He straightened himself up and adjusted his clothing. He was looking like HEAVEN. I licked my lips and smirked to myself.

"Lord Jesus this boy...", I mumbled to myself.

We walked into the kitchen to find Kasen and Destini being nasty. "Nasty asses", I said. They looked at me and laughed. "Goodmorning lightskin", he said. I laughed and waved at him. "So is everyone ready to head out?", she said. We all nodded and I felt Quad's grip on my waist tighten. I turned around and faced him. "Just focus on me...don't even acknowledge him", I said. He nodded and we walked out to the car.

May I say it took us a mighty long time to get to this nigga's house. Nigga was about an hour away from where we were going. We pulled up to a big house with a big ass driveway. Everyone stayed in the car except for Destini who went to go get him. To make room everyone switched around. David you be in the front with Destini and Kasen would move to the back with me and Quad so that there would be no altercations.

When they walked out and got into the car everyone greeted him except for Quad. Obviously, David caught on to this and got quiet. Today was going to be ....hmm..special.

We pulled up to the drive in movies and it was getting dark since it took us so long to get there. The movie showing was Annabel Lee and we were all sooo excited to see it. Destini found a good place to park and everyone got comfortable. Right as the movie was starting I realized I had to pee. "I'll be right back guys", I said as I got out the car. I walked to the bathroom but couldn't help feeling someone following me....

The bathroom was disgusting so I tried to hurry and then I washed my hands. I dried them quickly and walked outside. I was instantly pushed back against the hard concrete wall. I didn't have to look to know it was David.

*QUAD POV*

I couldn't focus on the movie knowing that Jasmine was in the bathroom and David had gone "to get popcorn". I was getting worried...so I excused myself. "Aye yall Imma go get me some candy I'll be back", I said. I hopped out and went past the popcorn center.

He wasn't there.....

I started sprinting towards the bathroom and sure enough, there he was....with my girlfriend pinned up against the wall. I walked closer and overheard him speaking some shit to her.

"You can't sit here and tell me you don't miss me Jasmine, come on just leave him and be back with me", he said touching on her. She tried to push him away but he wouldn't budge.

My eyes went red..

I rushed over and the first thing I did was punch him in his face.

I heard Jasmine screaming and that was the last thing I heard before I blacked out.

I woke up in a hospital waiting room. There was nobody around except for Jasmine and she was looking worried. I got up and walked towards her groggily. "Babe...", I said. She looked up at me and gave me a smile. "Hi love", she said. I hugged her and looked at her questioningly. She caught on and started explaining. "When you saw David pinning me up against the wall you went ballistic. You hit him once but then kept going and no one could get you off of him for a while. You put him into a coma...", she looked at me sadly but sweetly. "Awe man......", I said running my fingers through my hair. She pulled me into a hug, catching me off guard. "Thank you Quad", she said. I hugged her back tightly and didn't want to let go. "I was in a bad position....you were my hero..I love you.", she said before putting her arms around my neck and kissing me. "It's my job", I said.

Right then Kasen and Destini walked out from what looked like the cafeteria. Hungry asses always trying to eat...

Destini hugged me and then Kasen dapped me up. "You couldn't have waited to hurt this nigga until after the movie? Them dolls was scary as shit...", he said. There was a bit of awkward laughter before it got quiet again. We all sat in silence until we were interrupted.

"Friends of David Faison?"
