Confession Circle

*Jasmine's POV*

On our way to Destini's house I couldn't help but think about all the events that happened today. It was supposed to be a great day catching up with David but that didn't exactly happen. There's gonna be a lot to talk about when we get home that's for sure.

"We're here.", my thoughts were interrupted when Quad stopped the car in Destini's driveway. Everyone sighed and got out of the car. When we got to the door Destini unlocked it and we made our way into the house. "Ok guys nobody is home so we can all just chill in the living room I guess..",Destini said turning on the lights. "I'm hungry brauh..",Quad said breaking the silence. Everyone giggled..only a little though being that there was still tension in the air. Destini rubbed over her eyes,showing us that she was tired. Who could blame her? Suddenly I got an idea. My eyes lit up and I smirked at Destini. "You guys," I began, "go sit in the living room and me and Destini will fix us some snacks". "Thanks", the guys said. Quad walked over and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek before walking out with Kasen and David.

I managed to push Destini into her kitchen as quickly as I could. When she turned to face me I had a wide grin plastered on my face. "What?", she asked curiously. "Remember when we were younger and we used to play that confession game over the phone??" She thought for a second then nodded. "Weeeellll I was thinking that maybe we could do something like that tonight ya know? Like it could give us all a chance to talk about what happened tonight plus we could all get some stuff off our chests" She seemed pretty excited about the idea so we got some snacks and drinks like we promised the boys and went into the living room.

*Destini's POV*

I grabbed a couple bowls of popcorn and some bags of chips and walked out into the living room. Jasmine followed behind me with the drinks. I shot a quick glance towards Kasen but when he looked my way I quickly averted my gaze. Before it got too awkward Jasmine spoke up. "Okay guys, sooo me and Destini were thinking that it might be a good idea to play the confession game", she said with a smile spread across her face. "What's that?", David asked. "Well," I began, "we all take turns saying a confession that no one knows about. Just that simple." He nodded and put his hand in the bowl of popcorn. The looks we were all giving each other was enough to tell me how long of a night this was gonna be.

*Kasen's POV*

I was up for this whole confession shit, I just hoped it didn't end up the wrong way. I grabbed one of the chip bags and pulled out a couple of chips popping them into my mouth. "Aight," I said when I finished chewing, "who gon go first?" Everyone looked at each other. I smacked my lips. "If y'all gon act scared I ain't playing". Quad groaned and raised his hand. "I'll go then damn.." Everyone's attention was turned on him and he started messing with his dreads like he was nervous. Hmm...I wonder what this is about.

*Quad's POV*

Kasen looked dead serious when he said he wasn't gonna play if none of us went. I groaned and raised my hand. "I'll go then damn.." Right then everyone's eyes were on me. I started playing with the tips of my dreads like I did when I was nervous. "I uhhh...........I sing Mariah Carey when I'm in the shower" I looked at the floor and waited for some reaction from everybody else. I looked back up and they all had serious looks on their faces. "Nigga you gay",I heard kasen say. Everyone instantly burst into laughter and I smacked my lips. "Fuck y'all brauh.."

*Jasmine's POV*

I wiped the tears from my eyes after I nearly laughed to death at what Quad confessed. Out of all things this nigga picked this. "Bae you crazy",I said nudging his side. "Girl boo hush and continue this game", he said in a gay voice. I chuckled again before turning my attention back to the game. The tension grew as no one else offered to go. I saw Kasen roll his eyes then raise his hand up. "Since y'all niggas tryna act scary imma go". He looked over at Destini who was sitting criss cross on the floor across from him. He pulled her over to him and held onto her hand. "Destini..I know this game isn't exactly the best way for me to do this..but I just really need to get this off of my chest. You've been an important part of my life for a really long time now. Shit, 6 damn years Man. And now ain't no time for me to lose you. I NEVER wanna lose you. I fucked up ma. I really did. And I miss you. I love you Destini. Will you take me back?",he said before catching his breath. Everyone sat silently in a state of shock at Kasen's confession. Destini looked at the rest of us and then back at Kasen. After a few seconds she leaned in and kissed him. I couldn't help but smile. She pulled away and slightly nodded. "I love you Kasen". They kissed again and I couldn't hold it in anymore. "Awwwwwe",I cooed. Destini laughed and intertwined her and Kasen's fingers, turning their attention back to the game.

*Destini's POV*

I couldn't help the butterflies going crazy in my stomach right now. It was almost uncontrollable. How I felt for this boy couldn't be explained. And no one could EVER replace that. I was interrupted from my thoughts when I heard my phone go off In my pocket. David and Quad mimic my android ringtone by whistling and earn a laugh from me and Jasmine. I took it out of my pocket and saw a text from my friend Pablo. He's a Mexican nigga that works at the trap. It said "aye Holmes, we need you and the boys out here asap". I laughed at his cliche Mexican talk and replied with an ok. "Aye y'all we gotta head out", I said looking at Quad and Kasen. "Pablo said they need us at the trap". They both nod and we all start to get up. "I guess this game is cut short then", Jasmine said yawning. "Shit I'm tired anyways". We all laughed and I handed Kasen the keys. "Y'all go ahead and wait in the car, I'll be out in a second". Kasen pecked my lips and Quad did the same to Jasmine before they left out. I looked at David and hugged him. "It was great spending time with you twin. We need to make plans again tomorrow or something. I hope we didn't scare you away." He laughed, "naw twin I'm straight. Hanging around you and Jasmine's crazy asses as kids done made me ready for anything." I laughed. "You need a ride or anything?", I asked him. "Nah, my friend is on his way to pick me up." I nodded and turned to Jasmine. "Bestfriend you spending the night?". She nodded and I smiled and gave her a hug. "Aight y'all we should be back soon", I said before leaving out. I hopped into the car with Kasen and Quad and we headed to the trap.

*David's POV*

When Destini walked out the tension kind of grew. I looked at Jasmine and smiled and did the same. "Soooo, how have you been?", Jasmine said starting to spark a conversation. I nodded,"I'm coo, what about you milky way?" She laughed when I brought up her old nickname. "I've been good". I nodded. "I missed you a lot you know?" I said looking up at her. She looked at me for a minute then went into the kitchen. Now was my time....

*Jasmine's POV*

I walked into the kitchen trying to avoid any awkward conversation. I grabbed a soda out of the fridge and sat at the table. Soon after, David walked in and sat across from me. I tried not to make eye contact but I could feel his eyes burning a whole in my face. I eventually looked up and his eyes were still on me. "David..is there something you need to say?", I asked getting a little frustrated. He stared a little longer before opening his mouth to speak. "I have a late confession. Jasmine........I'm not over you. At all."

I could barely comprehend what he said. I just sat there staring at him like an idiot with my mouth partly open. I didn't know what to say. It's been years since I've even spoken to him and here he is saying that he still has feelings for me. My mind was completely clouded. As I opened my mouth to reply to his unbelievable confession, a car horn honked outside. Grateful for the sudden save I got up and started walking to the living room. "Well," I said looking back at David. "It was nice to see you again David. I'll probably see you tomorrow too so, until then.", I said smiling trying to make it as less awkward as possible. He stood in front of me emotionless before nodding his head and opening the front door. He paused and looked back at me," bye Jasmine." I waved and locked the door behind me. As soon as the door was closed I sat on the couch. How am I going to deal with this?
