Hey guys sorry for not updating as soon as I had 100 votes. I've been doing all my writing on my little brothers ipod and he wants it back. So I will not be able to work on my story nearly as much. Which means I will be updating less often. So sorry about that. Please enjoy the story.

Luffy sat in the ship that they had
gotten from the Baratea thinking about the conversation that he and D had had before leaving.

"What do you mean Nami might not join?" Luffy asked D, confusion evident in his voice. "She's already a member of the crew isn't she?"

"Once again you only hear what you want." D slid a hand down his face. "She said that she would tag along as long as it benefited her. Besides it's not that she doesn't want to join, more like she can't join because of her situation."

"If she wants to join then why wouldn't she just join then?" Luffy asked like it was a simple decision.

"Listen to what I'm saying." D waited till Luffy nodded that he was listening to continue. "Nami has a home." Luffy nodded. "That home is under control of mean pirates." Luffy nodded again. "Those pirates made a deal with her that she could by her village back for one hundred million beri's." Luffy nodded his head, looking a little like a bobble head this time. "Until her village is safe she won't go on any adventures with us." Luffy tilted his head to the side as he thought about what D said.

"So why wouldn't she join us?" D nearly screamed in frustration but Luffy continued before he could. "I mean, aren't we going to her village to take down those pirates?"

D stood there with his mouth hung open for a bit before he began laughing. "Yah we are." Right then D suddenly stiffened.

"What's up?" Luffy asked him.

"I've got to go." D suddenly turned and headed for the door. Just before he left he turned back to Luffy. "It seems Nami has made a contract. She is in an emotionally unbalanced state right now. There's no telling what accepting the mark could do to her in that state. I need to head to where she is. You guys hurry as fast as you can." He then left the room and disappeared.

"Luffy?" Someone called his name drawing him out of his thoughts. He looked up to find both Sanji and Yasuka were staring at him.

"What?" He asked. They both looked at each other before Sanji cleared his throat.

"Your mark is flashing." Sanji pointed to D's mark on his arm which was indeed flashing. Luffy sighed and stood up to inspect the sails.

"Yours is to." He said causing Sanji to pull his pant leg up revealing a mark just like his. It was also flashing, though his seemed to be shaking as if trying to go somewhere. "Is there any way we can make this ship go faster?" Luffy said. There was definitely concern in his voice.

"Why are the marks flashing?" Sanji asked. "Also this is the fastest this ship can go. It wasn't designed for more speed."

"We need to find some way to go faster." Luffy sat back down on the back bench of the deck. "The flashing mark means that someone with his mark close by is in danger."

"We don't have time to go find whoever needs help." Sanji growled before his demeanor did a one eighty and he began dancing. "My sweet Nami needs me." He crowed as his single visible eye became a heart.

"Nami is the one in trouble." Luffy sighed. Sanji stopped instantly to look at Luffy. "I'm hungry." Luffy rubbed his stomach as it growled loudly.

"Well, there isn't anything we can do to increase our speed." Sanji seemed deep in thought. "What do you guys want for lunch, I'll make something up for you."
