Nami and Zoro was standing on the main deck talking. Zoro was going on about his new training schedule that D and Tempest put together and how Nami should train as well if she wanted to be able to protect herself.

"I'm happy your getting along with Tempest and everything, paint me green with envy even, but-" Nami's words were cut off as she screamed at the top of her lungs. "Something touched my legs!?" Looking down they found D sitting next to them holding a paint brush and can.

"Hey." He waved the brush before running away, Nami chasing after him.

"What's going on?" Tempest asked from beside the figurehead where she was taking a nap. "It suddenly got noisy."

"Not really sure." Zoro shook his head. "D just painted Nami's leg green and ran off."

"He hasn't done a prank like that in a long time." Tempest yawned. "How's the training going by the way?"

"Pretty good." Zoro grinned. "I'm even a little bit ahead of schedule."

"Make sure you don't go overboard with your training." Tempest grinned back. "I'm going to go get something to eat since I'm up anyways."

"I'm not going overboard." Zoro grumbled as he picked up his weights. Preparing himself he took a stance and began to swing. Suddenly it felt as if something grabbed his waits and threw him into the air. "What!?" A loud splash could be heard as he hit the water. Immediately he tried to let go of the waits but couldn't. He had to keep both himself and his training equipment from sinking. "Help!"

"I've got you." Current smiled as she caused the water beneath him to shoot him on board. "Why'd you go swimming with your waits?"

"I didn't." Zoro weezed as he gasped for air. He had almost drowned. "Something threw me in."

"How strange." Current muttered as Zoro decided he needed something to eat. "It feels as if I'm forgetting something."

Inside the kitchen everyone else, except D, was gathered and it seemed they had all suffered from similar things. Ussop had his Tabasco sauce explode when he was joking about it blowing up in his face if he made a wrong move. Luffy had nearly died when he told Sanji he was starving to death. And when Sanji had been explaining his method of removing the guts on a fish it came to life when he said 'If this was alive'. He didn't get a chance to finish.

"What's going on today?" Nami asked, her leg still green. "D never acts likes this normally."

"Yah." Ussop agreed. "Plus where are his daughters?" He wondered. "They'd know what's going on with him."

At that moment D walked through the door. "Hey guys. What are you all doing here?" He asked as he waved.

"D." Nami stepped in front of him to confront him. "Why are you taking our words literally?" She asked. " " her mouth kept moving but no sound came out. Each of the crew members tried speaking but had the same issue. It seemed there words had been literally taken.

"I just remembered what I forgot!" Current burst in to find each of the crew trying to pantomime their anger at D. "What happened to you guys?" They tried to answer but no noise came out. "Well anyways." Current ignored their antics. "I just remembered it's April first."

Everyone made a 'oh' with their mouths while D chuckled. As soon as he laughed they started Silently yelling at him again.

"Dad give them their words back." Current scolded him.

"Fine." He huffed and waved his hand. Instantly the room filled with all the noise they had been trying to make. "Rowdy bunch aren't they?" He chuckled as soon as it was quiet again.

"Dad your not helping." Current growled.

"Ahh. My little girls standing up for herself." D chuckled but one look from Current had him putting his hands up placatingly.

"Anyways." Current continued. "April first was originally named Literal Day by dad here." She explained. "It was a day where he took everything literal. Though what you said couldn't affect others unless they agreed with what you was saying."

"So that's why when I asked why he was taking our words literally he took them." Nami understood now.

"And that's why when Tempest said don't go overboard it didn't do anything but when I said it then I was thrown off the ship." Zoro added.

"This songs like a fun game." Luffy chuckled.

"Your all right." Current nodded. "Except Luffy." Luffy exclaimed in surprise at that. "Us daughters were trained at a young age to be careful what we said on this day."

"If it was originally called Literal Day when did it get changed to April Fool's?" Sanji asked.

"Several hundred years when the other deities called it a fool's game." Tranquility answered as she entered the room.

"Dad thought it was a better name so he stuck with it." Tempest added as she followed her in. "Now it's a day when people tend to pull pranks on each other."

"I'd forgotten it was April Fool's." Luffy sighed. "I had some really good pranks planned. I'm so forgetful." As soon as the words were out of his mouth Tempest, Tranquility, and Current all cried out no.

"Who are you guys?" Luffy suddenly asked as he looked around bewildered. "Where am I?" D ran away laughing.

Current sighed. "Don't worry. He'll be back to normal tomorrow."
