D appeared at the highest point on the island luffy had been sent to. Immediately he could sense Luffy in the woods on the further edges of the island. The kid was sleeping and didn't seem to be in any immediate danger. Even if he was, it probably would be within his capabilities.

Not in a rush, D closed his eyes and took a deep breath as he let the smells and sounds from the only city on the island drift up to him. The familiar yet different feeling of it all washed over him as he let out a content sigh.

"Its good to be home!"

Marguerite on patrol when a little hand suddenly tugged on her cloak.

"Do you know where I can get more of this delicious meat?" A little girl wearing a dark cloak asked. In her hands were two pieces of boned meat the size of her head. "The lady at the stand said she's out and won't have more until the hunters come back."

Marguerite smiled at the little girl. "I'm one of those hunters on our way out right now to bring back some good meat."

"That's a relief," the little girl sighed. "That means I don't have to save some for my friend." She then shoved both pieces into her mouth surprising Marguerite.

"Thnm u iwl sfee u wafr!" The little girl ran away while waving.

Marguerite watched amazed as the girl disappeared into the crowd. It took her a few moments to realize she didn't recognize the girl at all. And here she thought she had been learning the names of all the little future warriors.

D enjoyed himself as he wandered through the streets buying foods and snacks here and there. He probably should have been paying attention to what era the money he was using to pay the vendors with came from. But it didn't really matter especially since the chance of anyone finding him for current money was extremely small with him changing his appearance with every step. As well as bending light and dimensions around him making his 'trail' impossible to follow. He couldn't help laugh and jump as he teleported to a neighboring street.

It had been such a long time since he had felt this much power coursing through himself!

Why was he more powerful than normal? It had to do with the fact that every person on this island was descendants by blood of his, (Except Luffy of course). And due to that he was able to draw on that link and use much more of his powers at the same time. One could even say that on this island no one in the world could beat him currently. It was an exhilarating feeling so much that he even chose to jump forward in time a few hours just for fun.

"Stop that man!" Voices suddenly rang out all around him as D saw luffy running on the rooftops while arrows flew from all sides. "Give up on escape!"

D watched him as he managed to escape out of the city carrying a familiar woman before jumping off a cliff, a terrified shriek faded away with them. All the warriors began heading to the city gates in order to follow Luffy. Very quickly D was all alone.

"Was Luffy wearing frills?" He asked no one in particular. "Did I jump forward in the wrong dimension?"

Before he could check a shiver suddenly ran down his spine and he looked towards the city port.

"That's a presence I haven't felt in ages." He vanished into thin air.

A pirate ship guided by two poisonous Sea Kings crossed the horizon approaching Amazon Lily where D and Luffy had just arrived not long ago. Its crew of only woman began to make preparations to land, finally returning to home. Within the dark captain's cabin three sets of eyes glowed.
