"It has already been three days since you said he would be here," Sengoku huffed. "Where is D Tranquility?"

"I am sorry he is late," she apologized as she prepared the evening meal. "I was certain he would be aware of time this time since the matter is so important."

"Ace better not die because he forgot what century he's in," Tempest growled from the living room. The growl shifted into a mumble as she said, "Also could you make my favorite?"

"I should have had you call me when he arrives,: Sengoku sighed. "One can only imagine the paperwork that is piling up in my absence."

"Relax! Hahaha!" Garp laughed from the table, a plate of fresh cookies in his hands. "I'll wait three years if it means I can enjoy this young lady's cooking the entire time." He laughed again.

"I'm still upset with you for not capturing Monkey D. Luffy." Sengoku glared. "As your grandson it's worse that he became a pirate."

"He sure has grown," Garp laughed. "And that new ship of his sure has it's surprises!" He let out a roar of a laughter, cookies spraying out.

"Garp." A sweet voice came from beside the oven. "Your making a mess."

This only caused him to start choking as he tried to stop his laugh, the cookies instead going down the wrong pipe. It had only taken one similar situation a few days before for him to learn Tranquility took her home very seriously.

"You remind me of someone," Current noted as ahe looked up from where her head lay on the table nearby. "You laugh a lot like someone my dad liked a long time ago."

"I don't know if I should feel proud or ashamed," he laughed again. Though this time no cookies went flying.

"Any connection to the Devil should be considered an insult," Sengoku huffed.

"I don't know. John was a pretty amazing guy."

"He was." Current nodded in agreement. "Good with kids too."

Plus if your going to consider any connection to me as an insult I can take my powers away if you'd like." D shrugged. "You certainly enjoy having those at your disposal."

The house became an explosion of noise as several people shouted in surprise. Though Tranquility was shouting at Garp for making a mess again. Current was the only one who didn't act surprised.

"Your late dad."

"I am exactly on time. Three days after everyone arrived." He folded his arms in indignation. "How could I be late with an innocent's life on the line?"

"Portgas D. Ace is not an innocent man," Sengoku spoke smartly. "He is a pirate."

"He's innocent of the crime you want to publicly execute him for," Tempest growled coldly.

"She's got a point," D pointed out. "You can't kill someone because of who their related to."

Tempest scowled at him before stalking off to the other room. "Let's get this over with."

"You heard the lady," Garp chuckled as he stood to follow.

D, Current, and Sengoku moved to do so as well.

"But lunch was almost ready," Tranquility spoke up causing them all to freeze.

"It's not good to tackle serious business on an empty stomach," Garp chuckled nervously. "How about we eat first?"

But it seemed his words weren't needed. D and Current were already at the table with bibs on and silverware in their hands. Sengoku was calling in those who were in the living room. Garp wasn't the only one who had enjoyed Tranquility's cooking.
