D wandered through the town looking like any other person, perks of the Copy fruit. His cloak had taken on the appearance of the common style clothes worn their. All of a sudden a wave of nostalgia washed over him as a memory of another place and another time floated to the surface of his mind. He enjoyed, once upon a time, wandering with mortals and would usually dress the same as them. A smile crept on his face at the memory but was quickly swept away. He needed to focus on the present if he wanted to return to the ways of the past.

Nami's dream was something to focus on. Ever since the time that was now claimed as 'The Missing Century' he had noticed that anyone of the female gender would begin having dreams shortly after receiving his Mark. He wasn't sure why it was the women. Not a single man had had them. Except one. But he couldn't exactly be defined as a man, could he?

Oh well, back to the dream. D knew it was only a matter of time before Nami connected the dots and confronted him. This single fact was the main reason he had separated from the others. Plus the fact that Zoro and Sanji had gotten into a fight, their faces unfortunately close bringing up unpleasant memories. Luckily the ocean was close so they could take a salty bath to wash away the results of said unpleasant memories.

He shook his head, main reason. As he stopped at a merchant stand to look at their wares he tried to decide what answer he would give her. Would he try to direct her somewhere else? Or would he give her a straight answer? And if he gave her a straight answer how much would he tell her?

Definitely not everything. Last person he had told everything to had ended up trying to destroy the World Government. Which, despite common belief, was not his goal. Sure he wanted them to pay for the wrongs done to him. But the guys who did the wrongs had died centuries ago. What he wanted was for the history that had been destroyed and hidden from the common people. He wanted the truth revealed, in a way that didn't cause war around the world.

Though if someone had asked him what he wanted during his first century of imprisonment he would have wanted the families of the wrongdoers killed in the most gruesome way imaginable. The World Government and Navy had been very watchful during that time. Any who had neared his Mark had been out to death without question. His Mark was still taboo today but didn't get instant death. Questions were asked before judgement was passed. Guess their fear had cooled with his anger. Once he had calmed, what he truly wanted was to be with his family again.

But first he needed to bring honor to those who had died for him during that time. A tear slid down his face before he could stop it. Especially Monk E. John and his family, his first true friend among the mortals.

"Hey girlie!" A voice disturbed his thoughts and D noticed that the feel of the crowd had turned apprehensive. He turned to look at the voice and noticed a girl being confronted by to large men, a sword on her hip and glasses on the top of her head. He sighed and turned back to the merchant and selected several trinkets, especially a discreet set of earrings he thought Robin would like. He wanted to make things up to her. Once he paid for his things he turned back in time to see the girl finish the two off. He hadn't been worried like the crowd since he actually knew her.

He was about to approach her when Zoro bumped into her and knocked her glasses off. He then watched in amusement as Zoro recognized her and crushed her glasses. Laughing silently to himself as the two argued, the girl stating that her name was Tashigi and Zoro being embarrassed. as they went to buy her a new pair. Keeping back a distance he followed them as they made a few stops before they arrived at a sword shop to buy Zoro replacement swords for his broken two. You know, the ones he lost against Hawk-Eye. Thought you remembered.

Anywhos, D watched through the window as Zoro searched through a barrel of cheap swords, the shop owner probably was ticked off because he didn't have a lot of money. Tashigj pulled out a sword with a blackish blade and D felt a wave of dark hatred and negativity wash off the blade. It was clearly a cursed blade. Zoro wanted the sword but the shop owner and Tashigj seemed to think it was a bad idea for him to buy the sword. The owner explained that everyone who wielded the blade had died gruesome deaths.
