"Why am I stuck with these two!?" Nami whined as Luffy and Zoro stood on the docks of Jaya grinning.
"Sorry Nami." Sanji opologized to her from the deck. "It couldn't be helped after what D said."
Nami growled as she remembered what happened. The moment the ship had docked both Robin and D had stepped off.
"Oh?!" Robin noted in surprise to see D beside her.
"Where are you two going?" Nami had asked them. "We haven't drawn straws yet!"
"I think I can gather more information on my own." Robin answered. "Though I don't mind you coming along." She smiled at D.
"Sorry." D shook his head. "I've got some investigating of my own to do. It doesn't really have to do with your goals." With that said he left.
"Then I guess I'm on my own." Robin sighed sadly before leaving. Nami stood on the deck with her mouth open trying to figure out what just happened.
"Fine." Nami growled. "Let's decide who is going with me." She turned and offered the straws to the rest of the boys.
"Sorry I can't go." Ussop shook his head. "I need to do some repairs after our encounter with that orangutan." It only took one look at the ship to see the obvious damage the Mary had taken.
"Fine." She sighed. "Sanji, Chopper, Zoro, and Luffy." She turned to the four. "Which will it be? I need two for protection."
"Sorry Nami." Sanji stepped forward. "Chopper insists on performing a burial for the seagull that died and I've got instructions from D already." He showed her a piece of paper.
Here's what it said.
'Hey Sanji. You should probably prepare our food stores for our trip to the sky. We don't know how long we'll be up there or when we'll next come into town. Take stock and make sure we're ready for anything food wise. Here is a couple coins to help pay for food stocks. There not worth much but I'm sure they'll help.
Also tell Nami sorry.'
On the table with the note had been three coins that were each about a foot in diameter. They were more like plates then coins. Each were worth a couple million each. How much did D think they were worth?
Nami growled as Luffy and Zoro stood on the dock discussing what they were going to do.
"Do you think there's some tough guys we can fight?" Luffy asked Zoro.
"If there is I'll be ready." Zoro grinned as he took hold of one of his blades.
"Ow!" They both cried out as Nami smacked them.
"No fighting allowed!" She yelled at them.
"Aw? Why not?" Luffy wined.
"Do you want to go to Sky Island or not?" She asked him.
"Yes." He nodded.
"Then promise me you won't get into any fights." Nami ordered. "If you get into a fight we might not be able to find out what we need to know."
"Fine." Luffy sighed as he put his hands behind his head. "No fights. I promise." Zoro promised as well.
"Let's go then." Nami turned and began walking into town.
D had been walking for about an hour when he found himself at the shoreline on the far side of Jaya from where they had docked. Sitting in front of him was what he had been searching for. Sitting directly on the shoreline was half of a house. The other half was strangely covered by a palace shaped piece of wood.
