After making a fool of that idiot with his lightning powers D decided he wanted to meet Calgura once more. Scanning the island didn't take long to find him and with the trees being everywhere showing up at his location was quick as well. And so it was minutes after making the decision that he arrived and stepped out from behind a tree behind Calgura who was running through the forest.

"Hello. It's been a while." Calgura stopped running and turned to look at him only to gape at him.

"It has indeed." D grinned at him. "Close your mouth before something decides to make a nest." He chuckled.

"Your a-?!"

"Curvy beast?" D interrupted him.

"A woman!?" Calgura cried out in shock.

"Let's not sweat the details." D shrugged. "Just cause the parts changed doesn't mean I'm not the same old machine."

"You really are the strangest creature in existence." Calgura shook his head in amazement.

"And you've really remembered everything." D pointed out.

"I have." Calgura nodded. "It's a little frustrating that things have gotten as bad as they have."

"Not really your fault though." D shrugged. "You've kept your end of the bargain completely as far as I'm concerned."

"But our people have been thrown so low." Calgura was indignant.

"Actually." D grinned mischievously. "You've been thrown so high." He chuckled.

"You know what I mean!" Calgura shouted.

"And you don't understand what I mean." D spoke calmly. "It always caused me great pain when I thought of the sacrifices you and your people made for me. You were born as warriors and I made you watch dogs."

"It was our choice." Calgura spoke softly. "We all saw it as a great honor to do our part."

"And now that your up here I don't have to worry." D smiled. "It's much harder to get to the message which means only people drawn to it will find it." He thought a bit more before continuing. "Plus I think the you now has a different goal in mind. At least at the forefront of your mind."

"Ring the bell." Calgura spoke as if another person. "Cricket has to have a decendant waiting to hear it's glorious sound."

"And he does." D smiled as Calgura's eyes widened in surprise. "He's even on the island below searching for you now. Or at least proof of you."

"Our friendship still lives on." Calgura fell to the ground and began crying. "We are still tied to each other by fate."

"See." D grinned. "There are more important things than protecting an old message that almost no one can read anymore."

"If you say that it is that when then I will accept it as truth." Calgura bowed his head.

"It is truth." D bowed his head in return smiling at the old ritual. "By the way, I think the you today is called Wiper. It's time you moved on from little old me and lived your life for yourself. That woman who was by your side seems like a good partner."
