My Curse

Robin looked up in disbelief as the voice that could only be Luffy's shouted her name again. He had made it close enough for her to be heard! Despite all she had said to him and the others he still came. Biting her lip to remind her of what was at stake, she wished him away. Away from her and her cursed life.

"Who was that?!" Spandam shouted half in surprise half in fear. "What's going on!?"

"It is Strawhat Luffy calling out to his crew member." Rob Lucci smiled cruelly. "It seems the gate's report was wrong."

"The Snail Phone is off the hook." One of the other agents pointed out.

Looking slightly confused, Spandam moved to stand by his desk. "Oh. It is." He put it back, jumping slightly as Luffy shouted her name again. The moment he replaced the receiver it went off. "Spandam here."

"Finally!" A marine's voice came through sounding desperate. "We've been trying to call in for over an hour!" At that moment Luffy shouted again.

"Report! Why is Strawhat Luffy at the bridge shouting? I thought you guys reported that the casualties was only five!" Spandam shouted.

"No sir! It was never that low!" The marine seemed in tears. "The last time we had contact the casualties was five hundred and counting! It's ten times that at least now!"

"What?!" Spandam screamed in surprise.

"Plus his reinforcements are drawing closer to the bridge." The marine informed them. "Nothing we do seems to be able to slow them down."

"Tch! Do the best you can! Report to me every half hour, I'll have a Snail Phone on me from now on." Spandam ordered before hanging up. He turned back to the agents. "Let's get Nico Robin to the Gates." He instructed Rob Lucci as he began making his way down the stairs leading down to the path to the Gates.

"Come Funkfreed." His elephant turned into a sword, hilt flying into his hand.

"Hey!" Franky whispered to Robin. "Aren't you going to try to respond to your friend? Shout or something?"

"I can't!" Robin whispered, panic on her face. "I can't make things any worse than they are!"

"Guess I'll have to step in." Franky shrugged causing Robin to look at him. "Hey Spanda! Since I'm doomed anyways I've decided to go ahead and kill myself."

"Yah right. Your bluffing." He waved over his head without looking as he continued down the steps. "Do what you want."

"At least I'll be able to take you with me in the explosion." Franky sighed.

"What?!" Spandam turned around. "What!?!?!?!"

Even Robin was shocked as she looked at what Franky's body was doing. To everyone's surprise, Franky's backside was getting bigger and bigger by the second. Even as a cyborg, the man was a freak of nature. Especially the Speedo he was wearing which were also growing larger.

"Self destruct in five seconds." Franky announced.

"So short!?" Spandam screamed as he jumped down the stairs. Screams of pain and crashing could be heard. Even the agents ran, their defenses not impervious.

"Hold on tight." Franky told Robin as he wrapped his legs around her and turned onto his back, rear facing the wall. "Might want to cover your head too."

"What-?" Was all she could get out before he did what ever he had planned.

"Coop de Boom!" Franky shouted as an explosive force shot from his balloon like bottom. Not an actual explosion but air instead. Franky tried his best to shield her with his body as they slammed into the wall with the windows. The same direction Luffy's voice had been coming from.
