A/N: sorry but imma do a cobra x midnight cuz an equal number of people (two -_-) wanted the two different ships and the first person wanted this ship.

So for next chapters I'll try squeeze in a LOT of Fraxus inside the plot.

So twentieth update. I hope you enjoy this "Side Story: Other tails" fluff. (Tails XD FairyTail instead of tale. XD)

"Cobra, are you even listening?" Midnight yelled as he tugged at Cobra's sleeve. "You have a Biology exam tomorrow and you haven't even revised!"

"Hence why I asked you to come here and help me cram all the important and easy stuff into my head." He replied with a smug grin. Midnight shivered. Cobra and Sting had the same exact smile. It frightened one who knew both.

"Seriously, it's not that hard. As long as you learn the exam technique. You'll ace it. You need to make sure you know..." The words drowned in Cobras mind as he pretended to listen to Midnight when in reality he was thinking about hot Midnight was today.

Midnight, his messy black hair, recently cut short. His obsession with black clothes. All those ear piercings and those beads in his hair. He truly had a unique yet weird style.

That's exactly why Cobra had a crush on him. He was different. And he was proud of it. Cobra remembered the day Midnight told him he a gay. Cobra like the man he was, acted casual about it saying it wasn't important. Midnight who probably thought Cobra would leave him in disgust, hugged the life out of him.

He wouldn't tell anyone. But on that day, Cobra screamed into his pillow and jumped on his bed like a little kid. He couldn't stop smiling like a five year old for days.

"Cobra! Are you studying?" His mother, Kinana Cubellios, stood in front of him as Midnight smirked. He was obviously going to be scolded. Where did his mum appear from?

Cobra'a mother, Kinana had dark blue hair and tanned skin. She had recently come back from a meeting and wore an expensive suit and a hand bag was placed by her feet. Her assistance lurked around in the kitchen looking for food. Cobra's mother had changed her surname from Eucliffe to her original surname, Cubellios. Changing Cobra's as well.

Cobra was quite fond of his old surname. He hated the new one. It made him sound weird. On multiple occasions did he try change it back. Cobra didn't hate his dad. He just hated Sting for everyone knew Sting was the reason 'it' all happened. But the parents didn't blame him. They blamed each other.

"I am studying, mum! Go away!" His mother disdainful look before trudging to the kitchen to drag her assistant out of there before leaving the apartment.

Cobra's mother owned the biggest social network company- Oracion Seis-in the whole of Fiore. Sadly it came second when compared to companies like FairyTail who owned the technology for the social network.

"Cobra?" Midnight tilted his head and pouted. "Why won't you listen, I'm trying to help you, idiot." That killed the cutesy act. "Stop staring at me!"

"I enjoy staring at you. It's much more fun that studying." Cobras failed attempt to smile innocently creeped Midnight out.

"Anythings more fun that studying. So that's not much of a compliment."

"Fine, I enjoy staring at you. It's more fun that most things." Cobra blushed at the remark he said. He only just realised that he was blabbering on. Midnight smirked. "I... I m-mean... Er?"

"What's more fun then?" He asked scooting closer to Cobra. His eyes played with humour and his lips pursed, hiding mischievousness. This was Cobras favourite side of Midnight. However not today.

Cobra simply stared with his mouth agape and a million thoughts swirling incessantly in his mind. "Erm... Kissing?"

His hand quickly shot up to veil his mouth.

"Kissing who?" Midnight at this time was playing with Cobra and messing with him until he got a little too close.

"I wanna kiss you." That came out as a squeak and Cobras hung his head in shame. What a man!

Midnight placed a finger under Cobras chin and pulled his face up so they were staring right at each other.

"I'll kiss you, if you promise to listen when we are studying, kay?"

"Uh huh..." Cobra could not make normal words come out of his mouth today.

Midnight leaned in closer lingering for a few seconds. Their lips brushed and lightening sparked between each simple touch. Cobra then closed the gap. A sweet taste emitted from Midnight. Cobra soon became addicted from a kiss that had only began. He tilted his head and began to push further into the other boys lips. Midnight placed his hand on Cobras face causing the said boy to flinch and then relax onto it. Cobra began humming into the kiss before Midnight placed his hand on his side. Cobras heart skipped a beat from the light touch. The kiss only lasted a few seconds yet so much happened and so much was felt.

Midnight moved away but only a few inches. "Now will you study." He breathed out these words scented with seduction. Cobra simply nodded his head. "Good. If you do well. Maybe I'll kiss you again."

A/N: I swear so much happens when people start studying. Another update along with this one. So double update today.

Also I just realised. You know the said "backstory" from Sting and Cobras past.

Well I keep going on about it yet I don't know what it is at all... Don't kill me.
