*Flash Sentry*
(Tuesday. Shining comes Sunday.)
I was so surprised at Twilight last night. I wasn't expecting that from her at all. I couldn't sleep, period.
So I walked across the hall and tapped on lightly on Twilight's door. I'm sure that she was sleeping and wouldn't answer, but she did. "Hi Flash." she smiled and had deep purple bags under her eyes.
"Hey Twilight. I can't sleep." she seemed relieved, as if she couldn't sleep either.
"Neither can I." she opened the door wider to let me in. At first I was hesitant but then walked in and looked around her room.
There were Crystals sticking up through the floor. They were everywhere throughout the castle. Her bed was in the centered on the left wall. It had a gold head and foot board. The foot board had a tree carved into it, and the head board had her cutie mark engraved in it. The sheets were purple and so was her canopy and curtains. Her bedside table was purple and had flowers engraved into it. On top of it sat an old rustic lamp. On the other side of her bed were the double doors that led to her balcony. Next to the doors was her dresser. It was purple and had gold swirls painted on it. On top of it was a few pictures of her family and the Main Six. A mirror was hung above the dresser. The walls were a crystal blue color and the windows have purple drapes.
Most of the rooms looked the same but the beds were different. She walked into another door that was on the opposite wall of her bed. That was the bathroom. She grabbed a robe and sat on her bed. "So, I guess we should talk."
"Yeah." I walked over to the side of the bed.
"Well, we've been on two dates now. And we kissed. So what does that make us?" she asked.
"I don't know." Then I thought about it. I could ask her to be my marefriend, but that might be too soon. She continued to think, and I finally spoke up. "Twilight, it might be too early to ask this, but," I gulped and felt sweat starting to form on my brows. "Would you want to be my special some pony?" I looked down at the floor, getting ready to be rejected.
"You mean like a marefriend?" I nodded. "Well of course!" she bent over the side of the bed and wrapped her hooves around me. After a few seconds of shock I did the same. Her grip was tight, but soon loosened as she pulled away. Twilight let out a yawn and got under the covers. "Night Flash."
"Good night Twilight." I kissed her forehead, turned off the lights, and went back to my own bed to sleep.
(Time Skip)
Twilight and I were in the library. She was reorganizing the books and I was helping. She seemed to be extra cheerful today. I guess after asking her out, she finally slept. She kept making cute jokes that were stupid, but yet I found it funny.
We were working on the 'L' section when Rainbow Dash flew in. "Hi Twilight. I need the new Daring Doo book."
"It's on the second table." Twilight said without looking up. Rainbow flew away and was gone without saying 'thanks' or 'goodbye'. We worked on the books for another two hours until she called break.
We walked through the halls taking about books. Yeah, I'm not a big fan of books. If I need to study from them, sure. But a leisure time activity, no. We finally arrived at the dining room and waited for the cooks to bring out lunch. I told Twilight about when I was little I would always read cook books and ask my grandma to make whatever sounded good.
