~Chidori's P.O.V~

So, to sum things up: we were attacked by rogue ninja, and found out that this should be at least a B-ranked mission. Hurrah! We had finally crossed over into Tazuna's village's island, leaving the boat at the waters edge. Naruto started throwing kunai everywhere, insisting that something was following them. When a small white rabbit ran out from a bush, Kakashi-sensei drew a defensive stance.

"Look out!" Dad yelled.

We all ducked, the sound of metal cutting through wind unmistakable. Following the trajectory of the knife, I found the attack. He was tall, dark hair, and was wearing something that resembled cow skin.

"Well, well, if it isn't Zabuza Momochi. Rogue ninja from the hidden in the mist," announced Kakashi-sensei. Naruto came running at Zabuza, but before he could get far, Kakashi-sensei stopped him. "You're getting in the way, get back."

"But why?" Naruto yelled.

"He's not like those other ninja, he's in a whole other league. If he's our opponent, then I'll need this." Dad lifted the band covering his right eye, revealing his Sharingan.

"Kakashi of the Sharingan eye, isn't that right?" Zabuza asked, eyes squinting.

Sasuke gasped, eyes bulging out of his head.

"It's too bad, huh? But, you'll have to hand over the old man." Zabuza glared at us, hand ready at his sword.

There was silence.

Then, "Protect the bridge builder!" Dad ordered. "And stay out of this fight. Chidori and I can handle it. I taught you team work, now it's time to use it."

"I'm ready," I said, gathering my chakra.

"Well, looks like I get to see the Sharingan in action," Zabuza said. "This is an honor."

"Everyone keeps on saying Sharingan, Sharingan. Will someone please tell me what Sharingan is!" Naruto demanded, clearly irritated.

"Sharingan: a rare power, it resides in the eyes, the user of this visual jutsu or dojutsu, can see and comprehend any genjutsu, taijutsu, and ninjutsu. It can reflect the attack back onto the attacker. The Sharingan is a special rare form of dojutsu, however, there's more to the Sharingan than that. A lot more," Sasuke whispered, staring at the ground.

"You got it right, boy. But you only scratched the surface, the Sharingan can analyze a person's technique. Then copy it to the smallest detail. As for you, jonin, we had a standing order to kill you on sight. Your profile was in our bingo book, and so was yours," he said, gesturing towards me. "It called you: The Man Who Copied One Thousand Jutsu, Kakashi the Copy Cat ninja. and you, the-" Zabuza was cut off by me screeching, causing everyone to plug their ears.

Zabuza growled."Enough talking, I need to exterminate the old man. Now!"

'The old man' gasped, though it sounded more like choking, and backed away. Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke gathered around him in a circular formation.

"If I have to eliminate you two first, so be it." Then, Zabuza disappeared.

"He's over there!" Naruto yelled, pointer finger shakily guiding our eyes.

"Standing on the water!" Sakura continued.

I decided to hang back, trying not to get in Kakashi-sensei's way. Zabuza was strong, and Kakashi-sensei was using his Sharingan to copy his moves, but this battle was far from won. I was trying my best to keep track of Zabuza's location, and I was doing good, except when he completely disappeared. Getting into my stance, I readied myself, looking around me.

"Chidori!" Sensei yelled, running at me. That's when I felt something sharp go through my stomach. I looked down, just like in a cheesy story, and saw that Zabuza had stabbed me with his sword. "Ouch, that's gonna hurt." I grimaced as he pulled it out, holding my stomach in the unreasonable hope it would save some blood. I didn't scream, nor did I fall over. In fact, I turned around, head butting him. He staggered back, letting out a yelp of surprise. My labored breathing filled my ears, everything else sounding muffled.

"Chidori! Chidori, stop!" Dad yelled, launching himself towards me. Instead of listening, I pulled out a kunai, ready to stab him. Unfortunately, I lacked enough strength to continue holding myself up, and collapsed.

My dad started fighting with Zabuza again, standing in front of my bleeding body. Soon enough, everything stopped. The fighting, the noise, the pain. I lifted my hand up and grabbed my necklace, quickly welcoming the darkness.
