I yawn and stretch, rubbing my eyes before getting out of bed. Silently, I walk to the window and look outside. It's nice and sunny, a perfect day, in my opinion.

Smiling, I open my wardrobe and pull out a plain white shirt, slipping it over my head. I continue to get changed, humming to myself.

There's a knock at the door.
"Come in!" I call, sitting on my bed.
"Prince William, your parents wish to speak to you." A servant says, opening the door.
"Okay." I nod, getting to my feet.

Deliberately being slow, I walk down the halls and along the corridors of the large castle, looking at the paintings hanging in the walls as I go.

"William!" My father says as I walk in.
"Hello father." I say. "You wanted to see me?"
"Yes," he nods. Mother looks me up and glen and scowls.
"William, what on earth are you wearing?" She asks angrily.

"Huh?" I look down at my clothes. "What do you mean?"
"You look like a peasant." She remarks. "Your feet are bare!"
"I like bare feet..."
"Don't mumble, William." She chides me. I hate being called William.
"Sorry, Mother."

"William, we have big news." My father says. I look at him expectantly. "You're going to get married!"
