Kakashi felt static go through him.

The group had already made it to (I/n) and were making their way through the grey forest. Sai hard worked hard to get them all to the Island as quick as possible, and his hard work paid off. Kakashi wasn't sure how long it would have normally taken to get to (I/n), but he knew that getting there in less than a day must have been a record breaker.

After they had gotten to the island, Sai lead them to to a cave in the ground that he said you had taken him to. Once there, Kakashi told Sai to stay there and rest, Sai protested, but Kakashi could tell that he couldn't do much in his current state.

"Sai, you have to stay here. You're in no condition to go any further." Kakashi had said.

"But Kakashi Sensei,"

"Sai, don't be reckless. We'll leave a trail so if we don't come back in a reasonable amount of time, you'll be able to catch up to us. For now, try and get your strength back. Got it?"

"...Yes."

"Good. The sooner you rest, the sooner you'll be able to effectively help us."

"Right." Sai nodded.

Now they were at the edge of the forest. Fertari had lead them all through the forest without a word and the closer they got, the more Kakashi felt a trap coming.

They had come to a still at the forest line. Taking time to look upon the wide field that separated them from the city; if you could call it that from this vantage point. To Kakashi, the place looked like a fortress or a prison, but that was merely due to the large, towering walls that encased the city. It also looked as if it had been built on the side of a mountain, split in the middle almost exactly where there was a long canyon doing up the length of the mountain.

Kakashi hadn't thought that the city would be like this. The walls and the city being split in two made it almost impossible to infiltrate the city and find you. Taking into account that you were only on one side of the city, that meant that they had a fifty-fifty chance of choosing the right side to infiltrate. Then, there was the actual infiltration. Considering that none of them, save Fertari, who probably wasn't going to divulge what precautions the city had to keep out invaders, knew what to expect. There could be archers or men hiding in the walls just waiting for someone to take the chance; sounds crazy, but not unlikely..

Kakashi sighed. Though it wasn't one hundred percent impossible, the chances of succeeding was very slim, and called for a lot of luck; which neither him Shino or Kiba were known for having.

Just as Kakashi was contemplating the groups next steps, There was a large explosion within the walls of the left city. Kakashi couldn't see where the explosion came from, but he could see black smoke rising. There was another explosion; Closer this time.

The entire group was still; not knowing what to do. Soon came another explosion came. This time it seemed like it was just at the other side of the wall. Fertari sprung into the open field and dashed towards the city. Kakashi didn't stop her. Given the explosions, it seemed as if the city was under attack and , under all the confusion, Kakashi could use this to get into the city. Fertari would most likely go to her captain or whoever she reports to in order to find out what happened and that person would probably know where you were. As the pieces of this new plan came together, there was another explosion. The explosion was at the wall this time. Pieces of stone and gravel shot out from the wall and when the smoke cleared  there was an opening the size of the Konrad gate entrance.

Kakashi watched as Fertari changed directions and bolted towards the gaping hole in the wall.

"Lets go!" Kakashi yelled, running out into the open.
